2021 Toyota Save Mart 350 Odds and Picks

The Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend ended with Kyle Larson capping a dominating run of 327 laps led with his second win of the season. Larson entered the weekend as one of the favorites and he showed why. The next driver on the laps led list at Charlotte was Chase Elliott – and he only was out front for 22 treks around the track!

We may see that kind of performance again this weekend with the Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. It may come from Larson (+700) or Martin Truex Jr who comes in at +400. Truex has won the last two races at the track.

NASCAR Betting Sites

That’s great for Truex but the driver topping the favorites list is Elliott who has made it clear that he’s one of the best road course drivers NASCAR has seen. Since entering the Cup Series he’s racked up 12 career wins with six of them being on road courses.

His last road course win was only two weeks ago at COTA where he won a rain-shortened event. Regardless, it was another road course victory. Elliott comes in at +200 before the Toyota Save Mart 350 set for Sunday afternoon.

As for Larson, he’s started in the front spot in the last three races but only managed one top-ten finish. That’s a stat worth taking note of. Here are the betting favorites through +1200 to win the Toyota Save Mart 350 outright according to Intertops.

Chase Elliott +200

Martin Truex Jr +400

Kyle Larson +700

Kyle Busch +750

William Byron +1200

Denny Hamlin +1200

2021 Toyota Save Mart 350 Predictions

Chase Elliott +200

It’s hard to pass on the active Cup series driver with the most wins on road courses. Half of Chase Elliott’s Cup wins have been on this type of track. He has a streak of four road course wins plus the two addition for a total of six. His four Cup Sonoma runs include top-five and top-ten finishes.

Joey Logano +1600

Joey Logano has already won this season and he’s had some good runs at Sonoma over his last ten trips to the track. That includes a win and a handful of top-five and top-ten runs. His laps finished stat over those ten races is something to consider. In his last ten races at Sonoma, he’s finished 1080 of 1082 laps.

Kevin Harvick +2000

Kevin Harvick should not be pushed too far down the list. According to NASCAR Fantasy stats, he’s one of the top active Cup Series drivers at Sonoma over the last ten races. That includes one win during those ten races as well as eight finishes inside the top-ten.

Others to Consider: Half of Kyle Busch’s last ten Sonoma races have ended with him inside the top ten five times. Four of those were inside of the top five. Busch comes in at +750. Ryan Blaney (+2000) has four Sonoma starts with two top-ten finishes and a third-place run in 2019.
