The Dodgers picked up more regular-season victories than any other MLB team last year, winning 111 of their 162 games. With superstars like Freddie Freeman and Julio Urias leading the way, the 2020 World Series champions will be difficult to stop this year.

The San Diego Padres last won the NL West title all the way back in 2006, but after achieving two second-place finishes across the past three seasons, Bob Melvin’s team will be confident of going one better in 2023.

With top international prospect Ethan Salas joining current stars such as Josh Hader and Yu Darvish on San Diego’s roster, the Padres look set to enjoy another strong season, having reached the Championship Series last year.

Thanks to their triumph in 2021, the San Francisco Giants are the only team to have prevented the Dodgers from winning the NL West title since 2013. However, they finished third last season after registering 81 wins and 81 losses.

Let’s not forget that San Francisco secured three World Series titles in five seasons between 2010 and 2014. The Giants have not been at their best in recent years, but it feels like they could bounce back in the not-too-distant future.
