It’s a huge Monday in the NBA. The one thing you must look for tonight is the injuries. Here are some great bets ATS for Monday, February 28.
Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers
Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers Pick
Best Bet: Timberwolves -3
The Cleveland Cavaliers have exceeded expectations in 2021-22. The team has hit a bit of a dry spell against the spread as of late. However, the Cavaliers are still finding ways to win. The team is 1-4 ATS in their past six games, but they are 14-6 SU in their last 20 games.
Cleveland will host Minnesota tonight, and the Timberwolves have been playing good basketball. Yet, it’s tough to go on the road and cover three points against a solid team.
In their last eight games, the Timberwolves are also 2-6 SU playing on the road against Cleveland. I will still side with Minnesota because Darius Garland is out for Cleveland. He is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 20.4 PPG.
Raptors vs. Nets
Best Bet: Raptors -3
The Toronto Raptors have been inconsistent, but I still like them against the Nets. The injuries in this game are very pressing on both sides. Fred VanVleet is questionable on Monday, and OG Anunoby is also out for the Raptors.
The Nets are without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons, and Joe Harris. The Raptors have not been playing strong, but they are 5-2 ATS in their past seven against the Nets. They are also 6-1 ATS in their past seven when playing in the Big Apple.
Brooklyn is 3-13 SU in their past 16 games. It’s hard to bet against Toronto.
Bulls vs. Heat
Best Bet: Bulls +4
The Chicago Bulls are a team that are hard to bet against this season. They could be without their center Nikola Vucevic on Monday. This would be a huge loss, but the Heat are still in rough shape. The team will not have Victor Oladipo, Kyle Lowry, and Markieff Morris.
The player to watch in this game to cover is DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan is in the running to win the MVP. He is dominating his opponents and helping the Bulls win. The player is averaging 28.3 PPG.
The Bulls are coming off a loss on the 26th, but they won six games straight prior to this defeat.
Hornets vs. Bucks
Best Bet: Hornets +10
The Bucks are a much better team on paper than the Hornets. However, Charlotte is playing similar basketball to Milwaukee at this point. The Bucks have been struggling immensely. They are 1-4 SU in their past five games.
They also have not covered once in their past five games. It’s a lot to ask a team to win by ten points in the NBA. Giannis will have a big night per usual, but he needs help. The All-Star is having a hard time getting help on the floor.
Miles Bridges is the player to watch for the Hornets. He has been averaging 20 PPG. Bridges combined with LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier have been an excellent combination as of late. The team is also 7-1 ATS in their past eight against the Bucks.
