The NBA action continues on Friday, January 20th, with nine games on the schedule. If you’re looking for the best NBA player props picks for Friday, you have certainly come to the right place.
I have trawled the NBA odds to find the most attractive player props for today’s match-ups. Feel free to choose two or three wagers that you like the look of, or you could back all five and go for the clean sweep.
Bam Adebayo – Over 10.5 Rebounds (+100)
The Miami Heat have found some form in recent outings, winning four of their previous five encounters. By contrast, the Dallas Mavericks head into Friday’s clash on a three-game losing streak.
There is no hiding the fact that Bam Adebayo has been key to Miami’s upturn. The 25-year-old has notched 11+ rebounds in six of his last eight appearances, so I’m backing him to rack up over 10.5 rebounds against off-form Dallas.
Keldon Johnson – Over 23.5 Points (-105)
Although the San Antonio Spurs find themselves second from bottom in the Western Conference, they will fancy their chances of defeating the Los Angeles Clippers, who have lost nine of their previous 11 games.
Even if the Spurs fail to get the better of the Clippers, I’m confident that Keldon Johnson will chalk up over 23.5 points. The exciting young forward registered 36 points against the Brooklyn Nets last time out, achieving 20+ points for the seventh time in nine outings.
Nikola Jokic – Over 10.5 Assists (-105)
Only one player – Tyrese Haliburton – has a better assists-per-game average than Nikola Jokic this season. Having recorded 405 assists in 41 appearances, the Denver Nuggets superstar averages 9.9 assists per game in 2022-23.
Thanks to a run of eight consecutive wins, the Nuggets are flying high atop the Western Conference. With the struggling Indiana Pacers up next, Jokic looks destined to enhance his ever-growing tally of assists on Friday.
Steven Adams – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-120)
While the Nuggets are enjoying an eight-game winning streak, the Memphis Grizzlies head into their clash against the Los Angeles Lakers on an 11-game winning streak. Unfortunately for the Lakers, they sit third from bottom in the East after suffering four defeats in five outings.
Memphis’ Steven Adams finds himself fourth on the rebounds-per-game leaderboard, having notched 15+ rebounds in six of his previous 10 appearances. Averaging 11.3 rebounds per game this season, Adams looks set to run riot against the lowly Lakers.
Josh Giddey – Over 18.5 Points (-120)
The Sacramento Kings occupy third place in the Western Conference, while the Oklahoma City Thunder find themselves tenth. Still, Oklahoma will be confident of upsetting Sacramento after racking up four straight victories.
Josh Giddey has starred for the Thunder of late, achieving 20+ points in seven of the past 11 games. With that in mind, I’m backing the 20-year-old Australian to rack up over 18.5 points when in-form Oklahoma City visits Sacramento.
