What better way to start the week than by betting on the NBA? We have six games to enjoy on Monday, January 9th and I have explored the odds to find the best NBA player props for the upcoming clashes.
With four of the top five Western Conference teams in action – and two of the top three Eastern Conference teams on display – we are destined to see electrifying displays from some of the league’s top players.
Without further ado, here are my recommended NBA players props predictions for Monday.
CJ McCollum – Over 6.5 Assists (-120)
Pelicans vs. Wizards Prediction
The New Orleans Pelicans sit third in the Western Conference after picking up six wins in ten games. Several players have stepped up for the Pelicans of late, but CJ McCollum has arguably been their standout star.
Not only has McCollum claimed lots of points recently, but he has also contributed plenty of assists. Having racked up 67 assists across his previous ten appearances (6.7 assists per game), I’m confident that he will notch over 6.5 assists against the Washington Wizards.
Jaylen Brown – Over 27.5 Points (-110)
Following a run of six wins in eight games, the Boston Celtics find themselves at the summit of the Eastern Conference. On Monday, the Celtics host the Chicago Bulls, who occupy ninth place in the standings.
Boston’s Jaylen Brown chalked up 29 points in Saturday’s victory over the San Antonio Spurs, meaning the 26-year-old has registered 29+ points in seven of his last eight appearances. That’s why I’m backing him to claim over 27.5 points against the Bulls.
Mitchell Robinson – Over 1.5 Blocks (-115)
Only four players have a better blocks-per-game average than Mitchell Robinson this season. The New York Knicks star has recorded 56 blocks in 32 outings, meaning he averages 1.8 blocks per games in 2022-23.
Boasting a four-game winning streak, the Knicks host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. The Bucks sit four places above the Knicks in the Eastern Conference, so I can see Robinson achieving over 1.5 blocks in a tricky game at MSG.
Nikola Jokic – Under 27.5 Points (-125)
Sure, the Denver Nuggets sit at the summit of the Western Conference, but they won’t find life easy against the LA Lakers on Monday. Why? The Lakers boast the second-longest winning streak in the NBA, having won each of their last five games.
Denver’s Nikola Jokic is renowned for racking up points on a regular basis, but he could struggle to find his top level against the in-form Lakers. Having recorded under 27.5 points in six of his previous 12 games, Jokic could be kept quiet again on Monday.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 13.5 Rebounds (-130)
No player has chalked up more rebounds than Domantas Sabonis this season. Averaging a whopping 12.4 rebounds per game, the Sacramento Kings superstar has cemented his status as one of the top players in the league.
Last month, Sabonis notched 23 rebounds against the Charlotte Hornets before registering 21 against the Lakers. Having clinched 14+ rebounds in four of his previous seven appearances, he looks set to enjoy more success against the Orlando Magic.
