Christmas Day is always a big day for the NBA, as the league loves to show off some of its best players and teams. That will be the case once again this year, as there are five games set to take place.
Not only will the league be showing off some of its top teams, but there are also some great match-ups set to take place. Here is a look at each game, including the best bets to make.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks

Eastern Conference rivals meet up as the Knicks host the 76ers at Madison Square Garden. Both teams are currently in a playoff position in the East and this will be an important game for the playoff race.
Joel Embiid might be the MVP of the NBA up to this point and he should have another dominant performance in this game. The Knicks are terrific on defense, but they just won’t have an answer for the big man in this game.
The Sixers are winning this game and covering the spread on the road.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks

The Lakers are starting to turn their season around and they travel to Dallas to face a Mavericks team that just can’t find consistency. Lebron James is known for having some big games on Christmas Day, but he might not get a ton of help in this one.
Anthony Davis is once again out with an injury and the Lakers just don’t have enough talent or depth. Luka Doncic just scored 50 points in the Mavericks most recent game and he will look to put on a show as well.
Take the eight points and bet on the Lakers, but the Mavs win this game.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics

Eastern Conference heavyweights meet in Boston as the Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks. There is a great chance that these two teams will be in the Eastern Conference Finals this season and this game will be fun to watch.
Milwaukee is playing without Khris Middleton and the Celtics have some defenders to throw at Giannis Antetokounmpo. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will have a big game for the Celtics as they win and cover the spread.
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors

The match-up between the Grizzlies and the Warriors was the most highly-anticipated match-up on Christmas Day, but injuries have taken that away. Golden State is playing without Stephen Curry and they have really struggled this season.
Memphis is one of the best teams in the NBA this season and they are going to be looking for revenge on the Warriors in this game. This game will be intense, but the Grizzlies will take care of business on the road.
Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets

Playing in Denver has been extremely difficult for teams in the NBA and that includes the Phoenix Suns. The Suns have also started trending in the wrong direction of late and injuries have played a role.
Nikola Jokic is having another MVP-type season for the Nuggets and he will be looking to put on a show for a national audience. The Nuggets just don’t have enough scoring and the Suns are going to find a way to pick up an outright win in this one.
