The NBA is set for a busy holiday weekend. Teams from around the league are getting ready for the Christmas weekend and will have a big Friday night to kick it off while most people stay indoors to avoid frostbite.
Here’s a look at the best player props to bet on today.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 32.5 Points (-111)
The Bucks forward has been tearing it up in his last few appearances. Antetokounmpo, who averages 31.6 points per game, has put up 87 points in his last two games. Playing against the Pelicans and Cavaliers, Antetokounmpo scored over 40 points in each game while putting up over 15 shots. Antetokounmpo had a double-double in each game.
Milwaukee will take on Brooklyn Friday night and Antetokounmpo should have plenty of opportunities to make plays.
Al Horford Under 6.5 Rebounds (-132)
Timberwolves vs. Celtics Predictions
The Celtics forward is still playing well at 37 years old, but isn’t putting up rebounding numbers like he used to. Horford doesn’t put up rebounding numbers quite like he used to. He averages 6.2 rebounds per game, but hasn’t topped that mark since early in the season.
Since returning from an injury on Dec. 16 vs. the Magic, Horford hasn’t played more than 33 minutes in a game and hasn’t topped six rebounds. He won’t tonight vs. Minnesota either.

Jimmy Butler Over 20.5 Points (-111)
Butler has still been a consistent scoring threat for Miami this season. Despite missing the Heat’s last outing with a stomach bug, Butler has scored 21.9 points per game this season and went over 20 points in their last two games. Butler has attempted seven or more shots during his last seven appearances.
Miami will need him to play well to beat a feisty Indiana team.
C.J. McCollum Over 2.5 3-Pointers (-162)
Pelicans vs. Thunder Predictions
The Pelicans star guard hit a bit of a slump in early December. McCollum’s first four appearances in December resulted in him shooting 2-of-15 from the 3-point line. However, McCollum was never going to stay down long.
Over the past six games, McCollum has made at least three 3-pointers five times. McCollum’s volume of shots attempted has also increased significantly. He has attempted eight or more 3-pointers in four of those games as well.
Damian Lillard Over 4.5 3-Pointers (+112)
Trail Blazers vs. Nuggets Predictions
Taking a flier on Lillard to make 3-pointers vs. a suspect Denver defense is not a bad wager. The Nuggets allow their opponents to shoot 48.7 percent from the field, which is 28th in the league and 36.4 percent from the 3-point line, which ranks 21st. Denver allows opponents to score 114 points per game.
Lillard has made five or more 3-pointers in the last two games. He has also attempted at least ten 3-pointers in eight of the past ten games. With Denver’s defense in the holiday spirit of giving, Lillard should find a way to knock down some shots from the outside.
