The 2022-23 NBA season continues to roll right along and there is a pretty big slate of games set to take place on Monday, December 19th. Several teams are starting to gear up for a big showdown on Christmas Day and those teams will want to build up some momentum.
Betting on the NBA is always a good option, especially if you are looking at player props. With that in mind, here are the five best NBA player prop picks to make on Monday, December 19th.

The Utah Jazz and Cleveland Cavaliers worked together to complete a big trade this summer and those two teams will meet up on Monday night. Players will be excited to play against their former teams, especially Lauri Markkanen.
The forward is having a huge season with the Jazz and he will be looking to make a big statement against his former team. Take the over 20.5 points as Markkanen hits big shots for Utah.
Joel Embiid Under 32.5 Points (-110)
Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Toronto Raptors for an Eastern Conference showdown on Monday night. Embiid comes into this game scoring over 33 points per night, but it’s hard to have a dominant performance every time out.

Jalen Green is scoring 21.6 points per game this season and he will help his team host the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. San Antonio is having a very disappointing season, but this might be a good match-up for the road team.
The Spurs are a team that continues to take away the other team’s best player and that is what they will attempt to do with Green. Take the under 23.5 points, as the Spurs will make things hard for the Rockets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder host the Portland Trail Blazers in what should shape up to be a high-scoring affair. OKC is a young team that doesn’t always defend well and Portland loves to shoot the ball from deep.
The Thunder are led in scoring by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but other players are going to have to step up in this game as well. Josh Giddey will be one of those players and taking him to score over 15.5 points is a good play in this game.
