We have a jam-packed slate of NBA games to get our teeth into on Wednesday, with no fewer than 12 match-ups on the schedule. Consequently, there is no shortage of NBA player props to take advantage of.
Below, I share my recommended NBA player prop picks for Wednesday’s games. I have chosen five players from five different match-ups to give you the best possible chance of landing a tasty midweek profit.
Luka Doncic – Over 29.5 Points (-110)
Mavericks vs. Celtics Predictions
The Dallas Mavericks are enduring an inconsistent season. Having registered nine wins and seven losses in 2022-23, the Mavs find themselves in the bottom half of the Western Conference.
Regardless of his team’s recent results, Luka Doncic is enjoying a phenomenal campaign. The 23-year-old Slovenian averages 33.5 points per game this season, meaning he boasts the highest average on the leaderboard.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Doncic bagged over 30.5 points on Wednesday. The Boston Celtics sit atop the Eastern Conference, but Doncic has more than enough ability to enjoy another successful night.
Rudy Gobert – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-104)
Timberwolves vs. Pacers Predictions
It is no exaggeration to say that Rudy Gobert is one of the best rim protectors in the NBA. Indeed, the Minnesota Timberwolves center averages 12.3 rebounds per game in 2022-23 – putting him second on the leaderboard.
The Timberwolves have struggled for consistency this season, chalking up nine wins and eight losses. However, Gobert invariably produces a standout performance when he takes to the court.
The three-time Defensive Player of the Year looks set to produce another dominant performance when the Timberwolves take on the Indiana Pacers.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Over 29.5 Points (-110)
Clippers vs. Warriors Predictions
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been one of the top performers in the NBA this season. The 24-year-old Canadian averages 31.1 points per game in 2022-23 and will be eager to enhance his numbers on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, SGA bagged 37 points, as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New York Knicks. He then racked up 42 points as the Thunder edged the Washington Wizards last week.
Granted, the Thunder face a tricky test against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, but SGA shouldn’t struggle to score over 29.5 points.
Clint Capela – Over 11.5 Rebounds (+102)
The Atlanta Hawks head into Wednesday’s clash against the Sacramento Kings in a strong position. Having won six of their previous ten games, they find themselves at the summit of the Southeast Division and remain on course to secure a playoff berth.
Clint Capela has been key to his team’s success. The Swiss center has accumulated 200 rebounds in 17 outings, meaning he averages 11.8 rebounds per game this season. Consequently, I recommend backing him to achieve over 11.5 rebounds on Wednesday.
Nikola Vucevic – Over 10.5 Rebounds (+106)
Coincidentally, Nikola Vucevic has exactly the same numbers as Capela when it comes to rebounds. Like the Hawks center, the Chicago Bulls star averages 11.8 rebounds per game in 2022-23 after registering 200 in 17 appearances.
The Bulls snapped a four-game losing streak last time out, claiming a hugely impressive 14-point win against the high-flying Boston Celtics. As a result, Vucevic – and the rest of the team – will be confident of frustrating the Milwaukee Bucks.
