Djokovic scooped his first Grand Slam title all the way back in 2008, winning the Australian Open. Since then, he has won tournaments on a freakishly consistent basis – cementing his status as one of the sport’s greatest-ever players.

I will be sharing my Djokovic Grand Slam predictions a little later. First, let’s see what the bookies make of his chances in 2023.

Odds Novak Djokovic Will Win a Grand Slam in 2023

Over 0.5 (-400)

Over 1.5 (-120)

Under 1.5 (-120)

Under 0.5 (+250)

Over 2.5 (+400)

Over 3.5 (+2800)

As you can see, the bookies expect Djokovic to enjoy more success in 2023. The Serb is priced at just – 400 to claim at least one Grand Slam title next year, while you can get odds of -120 for him to win a minimum of two Grand Slams.

If you think Djokovic will secure over 2.5 titles, you can take advantage of the generous price of +400. If you think he will achieve the calendar-year Grand Slam, the bookies are offering odds of +2800. So, what is the best bet?

By his own high standards, Djokovic experienced a relatively quiet 2022. The 21-time Grand Slam champion won just one of the four majors, although he didn’t compete in the Australian Open or US Open.

That said, Djokovic has claimed over 1.5 Grand Slam titles in a calendar year on six occasions during his career. Better still, he won three of the four majors in 2011, 2015 and 2021.

The 35-year-old holds the record for the most Australian Open victories, racking up nine triumphs Down Under. Having won eight of the previous 12 Aussie Opens, he is favored to reign supreme once again in 2023.

Djokovic has also enjoyed vast success at Wimbledon in recent years. After triumphing in 2011, 2014 and 2015, he achieved four consecutive Wimbledon wins between 2018 and 2022. The 2020 tournament was canceled due to the pandemic.

Alongside his nine Australian Open titles and seven Wimbledon crowns, Djokovic has three US Open titles and two French Open titles to his name. He last claimed the US Open title in 2018 before winning the 2021 French Open.

At the end of the day, Djokovic is still one of the best tennis players on the planet. With Rodger Federer enjoying retirement – and Rafael Nadal in the twilight of his career – Djokovic’s chances of winning more titles are as good as ever.

I’m backing Djokovic to win over 1.5 Grand Slams in 2023. I’m confident that he will kick off the year with a customary victory in Australia, and I expect him to pick up another title as the year unfolds.
