The 2023 March Madness tournament continues on Thursday and Friday with the Sweet Sixteen.
The remaining teams will battle it out for a spot in the Elite Eight this weekend. You can find out who we’re picking to win every game in our 2023 March Madness Sweet 16 predictions.
In this article, we’re going to analyze the best player props to bet on for the Sweet 16.
Joey Hauser Over 6.5 Rebounds (-145)
Michigan State vs. Kansas State Preview
Hauser had 8 rebounds against USC and 10 rebounds against Marquette. Hauser has had 7+ rebounds in five of his last nine games. He’ll be on the court for nearly the entire game.
KSU allow opponents to average 33.5 RPG (123rd). Kentucky just had 44 rebounds against KSU. There will be plenty of opportunities for the Spartans to accumulate rebounds and Hauser only needs seven.
Adama Sanogo Over 16.5 Points (-110)
Sanogo leads UConn in points (17.3 PPG) and rebounds (7.5 RPG) this season. Sanogo has been the #1 option so far in the tournament. Sanogo had 28 points against Iona and 24 points against Saint Mary’s.
If this game is closer, Sanogo will get more minutes as well. He doesn’t get the FT line a lot, but he will put up 15+ shots in this game. Sanogo has scored 17+ points in five of his last seven games.
Anton Watson Over 6.5 Rebounds (-145)
Drew Timme to go over 18.5 points (-120) is tempting, but my best bet is on Watson to have 7+ rebounds. Watson had 11 rebounds against Grand Canyon and 12 rebounds against TCU.
Watson has had 7+ rebounds in each of the Zags last four games. He’s going to be on the court for most of the game if he stays out of foul trouble and could cash this prop by halftime.
Norchad Omier Over 9.5 Rebounds (-115)
Omier grabbed 14 rebounds against Drake and 17 rebounds against Indiana. Omier has had 10+ boards in four of his last five games. He’s strong on the glass despite being 6’7” and often giving up some height.
Miami play a small line-up, so Omier is always in the mix to bring down rebounds. This match-up should be high-scoring and there will be plenty of opportunities for Omier to surpass 10+ rebounds.
Tosan Evbuomwan Over 4.5 Assists (+100)
Princeton vs. Creighton Preview
Princeton’s run might end on Friday, but I expect Evbuomwan to have another good game. The forward is 6’8”, but he’s a great passer. He had 4 assists against Arizona and 5 assists against Missouri.
Evbuomwan has had 5+ assists in six of his last nine games. In the three games he failed to produce 5+ assists, he ended them all with 4 assists. He plays big minutes and consistently produces.
