Will these two teams continue to hit the ball well? What other hitters will find success today? Here are the top MLB hits props picks for Thursday, June 2nd 2022.
J.D. Davis – UNDER 0.5 (+100)
The Mets left fielder has had a hot bat for the better part of a week. Since May 21, Davis is 10-for-23 (.435) in six games. In four of those games Davis had multiple hits, including a brilliant 4-for-5 day against the Giants where Davis had two doubles.
Tonight, the Mets go up against the Dodgers Tony Gonsolin. The right-hander is 5-0 on the season with a 1.80 ERA, which happens to be the same as three-time Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw.
Against Gonsolin tonight, Davis goes hitless.
Austin Riley – OVER 1.5 (+150)
Riley is batting .259 and he has been hot as of late. He’s had at least one hit in 10 straight games for Atlanta. In six of those ten games, Riley has had two hits.
Tonight, he plays at the hitter-friendly Coors Field. Riley has never faced Colorado lefty Austin Gomber, but Gomber has given up 49 hits in 47.1 innings. He’s just 2-5 and has an ERA of 5.51.
Riley is coming off consecutive two-hit games. Hitting .390 over his last ten games, Riley makes it three consecutive tonight.

Joc Pederson – UNDER 0.5 (+140)
Pederson had hit safely in seven straight games before yesterday. The Giants LF went 0-for-4 in a loss to Philadelphia.
He’s still hitting a respectable .268 with 12 home runs, but tonight Pederson goes up against Miami right-hander Sandy Alcantara.
The Marlins pitcher is 5-2 this season with a 2.00 ERA. Pederson is 1-for-7 in eight plate appearances against Alcantara. With a .143 average against Alcantara, Pederson gets shut down tonight.
Roughned Odor – UNDER 0.5 (+120)
Yesterday, Odor went 1-for-3 against Seattle with a home run. Baltimore went on to beat the Mariners 9-2.
Today, Odor and the Orioles will face Seattle pitcher Chris Flexen. While he’s not enjoying a season like 2021, Flexen looks to be turning the corner.
In his last start, the Mariners right-hander tossed a gem pitching seven innings and allowing a single earned run in a 6-1 win over Houston.
Odor, while successful yesterday, has just two hits in his last five games. He’s batting .223 for the season and in his career Odor is 1-for-5 against Flexen.
