Aaron Judge just keeps pounding home runs. The Yankees slugger now has 45, which is 11 more than MLB second-place Kyle Schwarber. Judge is having a season to remember hitting .304 with 99 RBI. His 1.078 OPS also leads the majors.
Unfortunately for bettors, Judge will not be in action today and won’t have the chance to add to his total. A number of other hitters will play today. Here are the best MLB home run props picks for Thursday, August 11th 2022.
C.J. Cron – OVER 0.5 HRs (+340)
Cardinals vs. Rockies Predictions
Cron is outstanding at home in the confines of Coors Field in Colorado. He sports a .996 OPS at home this season. Cron also loves right-handed pitching. Against right-handers this season, Cron has a .911 OPS and he’s hit 16 home runs.
Today, he will face St. Louis right-hander Dakota Hudson who is 6-6 with a 4.20 ERA this season. Against right-handed batters, Cron has allowed six home runs and nine doubles. He can give up some long balls against righties. He’s face 228 right-handed batters and has a WHIP of 1.41.
With Cron at home and his penchant for right-handers, it’s worth the play.
Christian Walker – OVER 0.5 HRs (+370)
Pirates vs. Diamondbacks Predictions
Walker leads the Diamondbacks in home runs with 26. That ties him for eighth in the majors. Walker has not hit a homer in the three games this series. His last one came in the final game of the D-Backs series with Colorado on Sunday.
Pittsburgh pitcher J.T. Brubaker is just 2-10 this season with a 4.49 ERA. He has allowed 11 home runs this season. Interestingly, Walker has had two at-bats against Brubaker in his career. He’s perfect with a single and a home run.

Rougned Odor – OVER 0.5 HRs (+450)
Orioles vs. Red Sox Predictions
Odor had himself a day on Tuesday against Toronto. He went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. He only has 11 homers on the season, but Odor has enough power to be dangerous.
Odor will face Boston pitcher Josh Winckowski tonight. Winckowski is 5-5 with a 4.68 ERA this season. Back in May, he made his MLB debut. It was against Baltimore. In that game, Odor took Winckowski deep.
In his last five starts, Winckowski has allowed at least one home run. In two of the starts, he allowed two homers. Odor and the rest of the Orioles have been hitting the ball well and Fenway Park has a penchant for allowing a lot of runs.
Patrick Wisdom – OVER 0.5 HRs (+340)
The Cubs third baseman leads the team in home runs with 20. He has just one dinger in August and hit just three in July. What’s interesting is that Wisdom has one multiple home run game this season. It came against Cincinnati. One of the two homers was a grand slam.
Wisdom will face Reds pitcher Nick Lodolo who is 3-3 with a 4.40 ERA. Lodolo has allowed seven home runs in 43 innings pitched this season. In his last start, Lodolo gave up two home runs to Milwaukee. Wisdom has not faced Lodolo in his career, but that won’t stop him from going deep.
