Adam Frazier to Score a Run (-105)

Mariners vs. Yankees Preview

Seattle Mariners infielder Adam Frazier has started to warm up at the plate. After starting the season slowly and seeing his batting average dip between .220, July was a big turnaround for Frazier. He hit .314 in July and had an OPS of .713.

In the Mariners’ last series of the month against the Houston Astros, Frazier strung together two multi-hit games. Frazier has scored at least one run in three of the Mariners’ last four games.

Facing New York Yankees pitcher Domingo German should provide Frazier with some opportunities to get on base.

German has made two starts this season and hasn’t thrown more than 4.2 innings. German has allowed 11 hits and issued three walks in 7.2 innings.

MLB Odds

Max Scherzer Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-108)

Mets vs. Nationals Preview

New York Mets pitcher Max Scherzer will get another chance to pile up strikeouts against his former franchise, the Washington Nationals, Monday night. Scherzer has been strong all season but may have come back stronger than expected after he missed a month-and-a-half of the season due to injury. In July, Scherzer finished with a 1.39 ERA in 32.1 innings of work.

In Scherzer’s last five starts, he has struck out eight or more batters. He has made one previous start against the Nationals, allowing three runs and striking out six in 6.0 innings of work against Washington on April 8th. The Nationals strike out 7.21 times per game on average.

Jose Abreau to Record 2+ Hits (+105)

Royals vs. White Sox Preview

Chicago White Sox’s first baseman Jose Abreau is hitting .302 this season and has been consistently productive through the year. Over the past ten games, Abreau has recorded hits in eight of 10 games and is on a four-game hitting streak. Abreau has also had three multi-hit games during that stretch.

Abreau has scored 54 runs this season, including three in the past ten games. Abreau will be in a good position to continue his success against Kansas City pitcher Brad Keller. Keller is 5-11 this season with a 4.18 ERA.

Keller has made two starts against Chicago this season, the last of which saw him allow three runs and eight hits over 7.0 innings of work back in May. Keller has allowed five or more hits in three of his past five starts.

MLB Picks

Alex Bregman to Record a Hit (-220)

Red Sox vs. Astros Preview

Houston Astros outfielder Alex Bregman has been hitting the ball well over the past few weeks. During the past ten games, Bregman has recorded eight hits and had three multi-hit games. On the season, Bregman is hitting .242 with 13 home runs and 55 RBIs.

Starting a series with the Boston Red Sox should provide Breman with more opportunities to rake. Boston’s pitching staff ranks 24th in the league with a 4.33 ERA, and the Red Sox have made 61 errors, which ranks 21st in the league. Boston pitcher Nathan Eovaldi had a brutal July, allowing six or more hits in his past three starts.

Eovaldi recorded an 11.08 ERA during his three starts in July. In two of his three starts, Eovaldi didn’t pitch more than 4.1 innings.
