Logan Webb is the starting pitcher for the Giants today against the Brewers.

Webb is 8-3 with a 2.82 ERA and 96 strikeouts this season. Webb has had 5+ strikeouts in 10 of his last 13 starts, so while there’s some juice on this bet, it’s one of the top player props picks today.

In his last start, Webb went 6 innings and finished with 8 strikeouts against the Diamondbacks.

San Diego will send Mike Clevinger to the mound. He’s 2-2 with a 3.79 ERA this season. We’re betting on Alek Thomas to have over 0.5 runs in the game and we’ll explain why we like this bet.

Thomas is hitting #2 in the Diamondbacks batting order. He has had success against Clevinger also. He’s hitting .400 in his career against Clevinger with 1 HR. We like Thomas to get on base today.

If Thomas is able to get on base a couple times, there’s a good chance the hitters behind him in the lineup will be able to drive him in at least once, which is good enough for this prop to cash.
