The Tigers rank 16th in strikeouts per game with 8.44. Manoah has pitched at least six innings in four of his last five starts and his K/9 rate is 8.2.
Brandon Woodruff – OVER 6.5 Ks (-145)
Since returning from an injury, Woodruff has gone Over this prop in four of five starts. In those four games, Woodruff struck out at least eight batters.
He’ll do it again today against a Boston team that will put five left-handed hitters in the lineup. Woodruff has a 40 percent strikeout rate against left-handed hitters. Boston strikes out an average of 8.33 times per game.

Jeffrey Springs – OVER 4.5 Ks (-165)
In eight straight games before being placed on the injured list, Springs went Over this prop. He’s 3-2 with a very respectable 2.50 ERA. Springs has five-plus strikeouts in every start this season since he moved into the Rays starting rotation.
Cleveland, which actually strikes out the least of all MLB teams, has a much higher strikeout rate against left-handed pitchers like Springs. The Rays lefty rebounds and gets at least five Ks.
Bailey Falter – OVER 4.5 Ks (-120)
Falter only has six starts for the Phillies this season, but he has three straight games with at least five strikeouts. That puts him over this prop.
The Pirates are one of the worst hitting teams in MLB. They strikeout the third-most times in MLB averaging 9.30 whiffs per game. The Pirates strikeout rate against lefties is huge. That will put Falter over this prop for the fourth consecutive time.
