NBA Player Props Picks for Monday, March 6th 2023

If you’re looking for the best NBA player props for Monday, March 6th, you have certainly come to the right place. Below, I go over the top NBA player props picks for today’s games and explain the reasoning behind each wager.

NBA Sportsbooks

Joel Embiid – Over 32.5 Points (-120)

76ers vs. Pacers Predictions

Only one player – Luka Doncic (33.4) – has a better points per game average than Joel Embiid (33.0) this season. Thanks largely to Embiid’s exploits, the Philadelphia 76ers occupy third place in the Eastern Conference, eight places clear of the Indiana Pacers.

Not only has Embiid scored 30+ points in four of his last six appearances, but he has also scored 30+ points in 10 of his previous 16. With the struggling Pacers up next for Embiid, I can see the Philadelphia superstar notching over 32.5 points on Monday.

NBA ATS Odds

Damian Lillard – Over 7.5 Assists (+105)

Trail Blazers vs. Pistons Predictions

Having lost each of their last seven games, the Detroit Pistons find themselves rock bottom of the Eastern Conference. When you look at the bigger picture, the Pistons have only managed to win 15 of their 64 games this season.

On Monday, the Pistons host the Portland Trail Blazers, who claimed a vital three-point win against the Orlando Magic on Sunday. Damian Lillard racked up 41 points, nine rebounds and six assists last time out, so I expect him to enjoy even more success against lowly Detroit.

Jimmy Butler – Over 1.5 Steals (-135)

Hawks vs. Heat Predictions

No player averages more steals per game than Jimmy Butler this season. Indeed, the iconic Miami Heat small forward averages 2.0 steals per game in 2022-23, meaning he sits alongside OG Anunoby at the summit of the steals per game leaderboard.

After chalking up four steals against Philadelphia at the end of last month, Butler has registered five steals across his previous three outings. The 33-year-old starred when the Heat defeated the Atlanta Hawks last time out, and I can see him starring again when the teams renew acquaintances on Monday.

NBA ATS Picks

Nikola Jokic – Over 22.5 Points (-115)

Raptors vs. Nuggets Predictions

By his own high standards, Nikola Jokic has not set the world alight this month. After scoring 14 points against the Houston Rockets, the Serbian center added 18 points to his tally against the Memphis Grizzlies last time out.

It is worth remembering, however, that Jokic dropped 40 points when the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers last week. In fact, Jokic has racked up points, rebounds and assists at a rapid rate throughout the campaign, so I’m backing him to enjoy plenty of success against the Toronto Raptors.

Domantas Sabonis – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-110)

Pelicans vs. Kings Predictions

The Sacramento Kings occupy third place in the Western Conference following a run of eight wins in 11 games. On the flip side, the New Orleans Pelicans find themselves ninth in the standings, having lost 16 of their previous 21 outings.

With that in mind, I’m confident that Sacramento’s Domantas Sabonis will run riot against New Orleans. Sabonis (12.4) boasts the best rebounds per game average in the NBA this season, so I’m backing him to enhance his tally on Monday.
