Are you looking for the best NBA player props picks for Sunday, March 5th? Look no further! With a total of nine match-ups on today’s schedule, there is no shortage of exciting NBA betting opportunities to take advantage of. Read on to discover my picks.
Paolo Banchero – Over 7.5 Rebounds (+105)
Paolo Banchero stole the show when the Orlando Magic defeated the Charlotte Hornets earlier this week, recording 31 points, six rebounds and five assists. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old rookie enhanced his reputation as one of the best young players in the NBA.
After racking up 23 rebounds across back-to-back games last month, Banchero has notched 6+ rebounds in each of his previous five appearances. With that in mind, I’m confident that he will register over 7.5 rebounds against the off-form Portland Trail Blazers.
Cameron Johnson – Over 17.5 Points (-125)
The Charlotte Hornets find themselves second from bottom in the Eastern Conference with a record of 20-45. On the flip side, the Brooklyn Nets occupy sixth place in the standings, having won 35 of their 63 games this season.
Brooklyn’s Cameron Johnson has been chalking up points for fun of late, scoring 27 against the Atlanta Hawks last month before scoring 33 against the New York Knicks earlier this week. That’s why I’m backing him to record over 17.5 points against the struggling Hornets.
Kelly Olynyk – Under 13.5 Points (-105)
The Oklahoma City Thunder (29-34) and Utah Jazz (31-33) are separated by just three places in the Western Conference ahead of their showdown at Paycom Center on Sunday. Naturally, this is destined to be a close-fought battle between two evenly matched teams.
Utah’s Kelly Olynyk is priced at -125 to score over 13.5 points against the Thunder, but I prefer odds of – 105 for home to score under 13.5 points. After all, Olynyk has only managed to bag over 13.5 points in one of his previous four outings.
Jalen Brunson – Over 5.5 Assists (+120)
Since Jalen Brunson has registered 5+ assists in 12 of his past 13 appearances, it seems crazy that you can get odds of +120 for the New York Knicks star to notch over 5.5 assists on Sunday, regardless of the fact that the Knicks face the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.
Not only have the Knicks won each of their last eight games, but they have also won 10 of their previous 11. Since the Celtics have struggled for consistency in recent times – losing two of their past three outings – I can see Brunson enhancing his assists tally this weekend.
Desmond Bane – Over 22.5 Points (-190)
Desmond Bane racked up 30 points when the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Houston Rockets earlier this week, before notching 19 points in a valiant performance against the Denver Nuggets to extend his impressive scoring streak.
On Sunday, the Grizzlies face the Los Angeles Clippers, who find themselves six places below Memphis in the Western Conference following a run of seven losses in 10 games. For that reason, I’m confident that Bane will chalk up over 22.5 points at Crypto.com Arena.
