The last of February’s NBA action goes down on Tuesday, with 10 intriguing match-ups wrapping up another exciting month of basketball. I have scoured the odds to find the best NBA player props for Tuesday, February 28th, so feel free to take advantage of my picks.
Brook Lopez – Over 1.5 Blocks (-125)
Brook Lopez finds himself third on the blocks per game leaderboard, with Jaren Jackson Jr. and Nic Claxton the only players above him. Averaging 2.4 blocks per game in 2022-23, Lopez has played a pivotal role in the success of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Indeed, the Bucks sit at the summit of the Eastern Conference thanks to a mammoth 14-game winning streak. Since the Brooklyn Nets have lost seven of their previous 10 outings, I expect Lopez to produce another dominant display on Tuesday.
Trae Young – Over 10.5 Assists (+115)
Only one player – James Harden – averages more assists per game than Trae Young this season. The Atlanta Hawks point guard has racked up 550 assists across 54 appearances, meaning he averages 10.2 assists per game in 2022-23.
It is also worth noting that Young averages 12.4 assists across his previous seven outings, having notched 87 since missing the Denver Nuggets clash earlier this month. With that in mind, I’m confident that he will register over 10.5 assists against the Washington Wizards.
Ja Morant – Over 8.5 Assists (+100)
Like Young, Ja Morant has established himself among the top passers in the NBA in recent times. Averaging 8.1 assists per game this season, the 2023 NBA All-Star has also helped the Memphis Grizzlies cement second place in the Western Conference.
On Tuesday, the high-flying Grizzlies host the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, who find themselves down in 12th place. Since Morant has chalked up 8+ assists in 10 of his previous 14 outings for Memphis, he shouldn’t struggle to notch over 8.5 assists against the Lakers.
Josh Giddey – Under 18.5 Points (-115)

It is no secret that Josh Giddey is one of the most exciting prospects in the NBA right now. Having become the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, the 20-year-old Australian is destined to go far.
That said, Giddey has struggled for consistency of late, failing to register over 20 points in each of his previous 10 appearances. With the Oklahoma City Thunder facing the in-form Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, I can see Giddey recording under 18.5 points.
Nikola Jokic – Over 23.5 Points (-115)
Nikola Jokic racked up 40 points when the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers last time out. On top of that, the giant Serbian notched 17 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals, emphasizing his importance to the team.
It’s top against bottom in the Western Conference on Tuesday, as the Nuggets visit the Houston Rockets. Having lost each of their last nine games, the Rockets look set to be the next team to suffer at the hands of Jokic. I recommended backing Jokic to score over 23.5 points here.
