We are nearing the end of the regular season in college basketball, but there is still some work that has to be done. With conference tournaments just around the corner, each team is still trying to make a push to win a conference title.
There are a number of Top 25 teams in action on Tuesday night, and that will create some great betting opportunities. Here are four of the best bets to make for this sport.
Spread: Kansas State Wildcats +12.0
The Kansas State Wildcats travel to Lawrence for a matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks on Tuesday night. You can usually throw the records out when these teams match up, and the location rarely matters either.
Kansas State is just 14-12 on the year, but the Wildcats nearly beat Kansas earlier in the year. The Jayhawks are big favorites in this matchup, but they haven’t always been sharp this season.
Kansas is going to win this game at home, but it’s going to be tighter than expected. Take the 12 points and bet on visitors in this game.
Moneyline Underdog: Florida Gators +125
The Florida Gators are looking for their second straight Top 25 upset when they host the Arkansas Razorbacks on Tuesday night. Florida just stunned Auburn this weekend, and they have been a tough team to beat on their home floor.
Arkansas has won four of its last five games, and they are scoring over 77 points per game this season. Florida is not a team that can win this game in a shootout, but the Gators are holding teams to just 64 points per game.
This game just screams upset, and the Gators will get the job done for the second game in a row.
Total: Tennessee at Missouri Over 130.5
Tennessee travels to Missouri on Tuesday night, and the Volunteers are looking to bounce back. This team suffered a loss over the weekend, and they could not get any offense going in that game.
Missouri is just 10-17 on the year, and they have lost three straight games. This game could get out of hand in a hurry, but it’s best to focus on the points in this matchup.
The Tigers give up over 70 points per game, and they are going to have a real problem with Tennessee in this game. The Volunteers might be able to get to 80 points on their own, and that is going to push the total to more than 130.5 points.
Parlay: Alabama -3.5 / UConn Huskies ML
Alabama vs. Vanderbilt Picks / Villanova vs. UConn Picks
If you are looking for a big win on Tuesday, then putting together a two-team parlay is the way to go. Alabama is on the road at Vanderbilt, and the UConn Huskies are set to host the Villanova Wildcats.
The Crimson Tide are back in the Top 25, and they shouldn’t have much trouble in beating Vanderbilt. The Commodores have been improved this season, but taking Alabama at -3.5 is a pretty safe play.
The Villanova-UConn game should be one of the best of the night and will likely come down to the wire. The Huskies are going to use the home floor to their advantage, and they will win this Big East showdown.
