NHL Best Bets for Friday, April 29th 2022

We have reached the final weekend of the 2021-22 NHL regular season, and all 16 playoff spots have already been claimed. Even though the playoff field is set, there are still some games that have plenty of meaning on Friday night.

NHL Sportsbooks

With a full slate of games on the schedule for Friday, April 29, you are going to find some terrific betting opportunities. Here are four of the best bets to make on Friday, and four different betting types are going to be featured.

Moneyline: St. Louis Blues -170

Golden Knights vs. Blues Picks

The St. Louis Blues host the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday night, and this is normally a game that is circled on the calendar. These teams have been at the top of the Western Conference for the last few years, but Vegas comes into this game eliminated from playoff contention.

St. Louis can still earn the number two seed in the Central Division, and that makes this game extremely important for the home team. The Blues haven’t been playing great of late, but all of that can be fixed with a win.

Vegas just won’t have much energy in this game, and the Blues pick up the win at home.

NHL Moneyline Odds

Puck Line: Nashville Predators -1.5

Predators vs. Coyotes Picks

The Nashville Predators are in the playoffs, but they could be the second Wild Card in the West. That would put them in a matchup with the Colorado Avalanche in the First Round, and the Predators need to win on Friday night to avoid that.

Nashville will be in Arizona on Friday for a matchup with the Arizona Coyotes, and that team has been eliminated from the playoffs for weeks. The Coyotes are a team that is getting blown out with regularity, and that is exactly what should happen in this one.

The Predators go into Arizona and win by at least two goals to cover the puck line.

Game Total: Avalanche / Wild Over 6.5 Goals

Avalanche vs. Wild Picks

The Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild are two of the best teams in the Western Conference, and they are also two of the best offensive teams. These teams meet up on Friday night, and offenses should be on full display.

Colorado can still win the President’s Trophy, and Minnesota can still earn a home-ice advantage in the First Round. That gives each team something to play for, and it should set up a great battle on Friday.

Defense will be optional in this game, and it might take five goals to win. These teams are going to combine for at least seven goals in this one.

NHL Predictions

Parlay: Kraken -120 / Oilers -200

Sharks vs. Kraken Picks / Canucks vs. Oilers Picks

With so many games on the schedule, putting together a two-team parlay shouldn’t be a big issue on Friday. There are two home favorites to bet on, and combining those bets could lead to a solid win.

The Seattle Kraken host the San Jose Sharks, and neither team has much to play for in this game. San Jose has been a much better team than Seattle this season, but the Kraken will pick up a win in front of their home crowd.

Edmonton hosts the Vancouver Canucks, and the Oilers are looking to gear up for a deep run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Canucks actually had a better season than expected, but they don’t have the offense to keep up with the Oilers.

Take the Kraken at -120 and the Oilers at -200 for a solid win to end the night.
