With 11 games on Tuesday’s schedule, there is no shortage of NHL player props to take advantage of. Lucky for you, I have trawled the odds to find the best NHL player props picks for Tuesday, February 14th. Read on to discover my recommended wagers.
Tim Stutzle – Over 0.5 Points (-180)
Tim Stutzle was the star of the show when the Ottawa Senators beat the Calgary Flames 4-3 on Monday. The 21-year-old German chalked up one goal, three assists and three shots on goal last time out, so I’m backing him to enhance his points tally against the New York Islanders.
Having suffered back-to-back losses against the Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens, the Islanders are not in a good place right now. By contrast, the Senators have won five of their last six games and Stutzle has played a key role in the team’s upturn.
Jordan Kyrou – Over 0.5 Points (-190)
The St. Louis Blues claimed a dramatic 6-5 victory over the Arizona Coyotes last time out, with Jordan Kyrou registering two assists and four shots on goal. On Tuesday, the Blues host the Florida Panthers, who have struggled on their travels in recent times.
It is worth noting that Kyrou has racked up seven points across his previous seven outings, bagging three goals and four assists in that time. For that reason, I’m confident that he will continue to enjoy plenty of success against the inconsistent Panthers.
Mark Scheifele – Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+105)
Tuesday’s clash between the Winnipeg Jets and Seattle Kraken is destined to be a thrilling encounter. The Jets find themselves second in the Central Division following two high-scoring victories, while the Kraken sit third in the Pacific Division having returned to winning ways.
Winnipeg’s Mark Scheifele recorded five shots on goal in Sunday’s 4-1 win against the Chicago Blackhawks, meaning he has notched 13 shots on goal across his last three outings. With that in mind, odds of +105 for Scheifele to achieve over 2.5 SOG are certainly worth taking advantage of.
Mike Hoffman – Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-145)

The Montreal Canadiens clinched an impressive 6-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers last time out, with Evgenii Dadonov, Jonathan Drouin and Jordan Harris all notching two points. Meanwhile, Mike Hoffman racked up five shots on goal and remained a constant threat throughout the game.
Hoffman has been registering shots on goal for fun of late, chalking up 22 SOG across his previous five appearances. Having reached over 2.5 shots on goal in each of the last five games, Hoffman looks destined to extend his hot streak against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Erik Karlsson – Over 1.5 Points (+170)
Only three players have registered more points than Erik Karlsson this season. The San Jose Sharks superstar has accumulated 73 points across 54 outings, meaning he averages 1.35 points per game in 2022-23.
On Tuesday, the Sharks host the Pittsburgh Penguins, who suffered a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of the Los Angeles Kings last time out. Given that Karlsson has recorded over 1.5 points in six of his past 10 appearances, I’m backing him to run riot against Pittsburgh’s defense.
