The defending MLS Cup champions have won three straight including last week’s 1-0 win over the New York Red Bulls. That victory leaves New York FC just one point behind East Division leader Philadelphia.

Across the past 15 rounds in MLS play, New York has just one loss. Inter Miami sits in the middle of the pack in the East, 13 points behind NYCFC. They have lost nine of their 20 matches so far this season.

New York plays much better at home and the Over is 8-3 at Yankee Stadium. NYCFC has scored 12 goals in its last five matches. Inter Miami put up three in a 3-2 win over Charlotte last week.

Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution

Pick: COLUMBUS +115

Columbus was an early season favorite to capture this year’s MLS Cup. Recently, they have looked like they could do just that. The Crew is on an eight-game unbeaten streak and hasn’t lost a match since May.

New England is the fourth-worst defensive team in the East, which is why they sit in tenth place in the division. The Revolution has not won its last four matches and lost its last two straight.

The Revolution will have a hard time slowing down Crew striker Cucho Hernandez who has four goals in three games since coming from Watford of the EFL.

CF Montreal vs. DC United

Pick: CF MONTREAL +180

Two teams at the opposite ends of the spectrum meet in the nation’s capital on Saturday. CF Montreal has won 10 of its 20 matches this season. That’s why they are a top-4 team in the East Division.

DC United has lost 11 of its 19 matches this season. They are the worst defensive team in MLS. That doesn’t sit well as Montreal is one of the best offensive teams in MLS.

CF Montreal has won four matches on the road this season. This one will make five.

Minnesota United vs. Houston Dynamo

Pick: MINNESOTA UNITED +210

Houston has just two wins in its last eight games. Five of those games were straight up losses. The Dynamo did manage a 2-1 win last week, but it was against San Jose which is just two points ahead of the West Division’s last-place team, Sporting Kansas City.

Minnesota looked nothing like a playoff team earlier in the season, but they have turned things around. They have not lost in five straight matches – four wins and a draw. Minnesota now sits fourth in the West Division standings and is just two points behind third-place Real Salt Lake.

The better team wins here on Saturday.
