Clemson Tigers at Duke Blue Devils Picks
Best Bet: Blue Devils -4
There is perhaps no team in the country that has been more affected by the lack of fans in the stands than the Duke Blue Devils. All you have to do is watch the games at Cameron Indoor Stadium, and there is just something missing from what you normally expect from the premier ACC program. That lack of electricity has led to a slumping team on the court that is almost confusing.
That said, Duke may be getting its arms around its struggles as it took down a decent Georgia Tech team earlier in the week. Despite their struggles, this Blue Devils team remains tremendously talented with Matthew Hurt, Jalen Johnson, and DJ Steward leading the way on the offensive end.
The issue has been on the defensive end and especially defending the three-point line. Duke is allowing opponents to shoot nearly 37% from behind the arc on the season but held the Yellow Jackets to just 8-of-24 on Tuesday night.
On the other side, no team has been disrupted by COVID-19 more than the Clemson Tigers. After Clemson was shut down for 11 days, it lost three consecutive games before defeating Louisville on Wednesday evening.
The Tigers’ defense remains stout, but they have seemingly lost their mojo on the offensive end. They haven’t scored over 65 points in over three weeks.
Despite the lack of Crazies in Cameron, Duke should be able to scrape together enough offense to cover this number.
Wisconsin Badgers at Penn State Nittany Lions Picks
Wisconsin vs. Penn State Preview
Best Bet: Badgers -2.5
This is an interesting spread. Penn State is a team that is just 5-7 on the season, but it is also the only team with a losing record that ranks within the Kenpom top 50.
Are they good? Kinda. Are they just three points worse than Wisconsin? Absolutely not.
There is something to be said for home-court advantage, but we are talking about a Nittany Lions team that has already lost to Seton Hall at home and barely squeaked out a victory against Northwestern in its last home game.
The Badgers haven’t been the most consistent team in the land this season, but they are 12-3 straight up on the season as the favorite and 3-2 against the spread on the road.
You can call this just a gut feeling as there aren’t a ton of trends that support the pick, but of the road favorites on Saturday, this one appears to be the one that stands out.

Arkansas Razorbacks at Oklahoma State Cowboys Picks
Arkansas vs. Oklahoma State Preview
Best Bet: Cowboys -1
So here is the thing, we don’t know if Oklahoma State freshman Cade Cunningham is definitely going to play in this game. One thing that we might know is that Eric Musselman’s Arkansas team may not be as good as their 13-4 record suggests. We are also seeing that Oklahoma State is more than just Cunningham.
In their most recent game against Iowa State, the Cowboys had four players in double figures, and none of them were Isaac Likekele or Cunningham. That tidbit in itself answers a ton of questions regarding the supporting cast of the Cowboys.
The loss of Cunningham is obviously not ideal, but Mike Boynton’s team may end up being better off with it happening.
Arkansas is 0-4 head-to-head against the Kenpom top 40 this season and has lost those games by an average of 16.3 points per game. If Cunningham plays in this game, lay the points up to 3.5.
He may be coming back to a group that is more confident and ready to offer him some much-needed assistance.
