The best way to win money on Major League Baseball is through parlays. Parlays are tough to hit, but they can provide a massive payout. After three weeks of baseball, it’s a perfect time to bet parlays.
Online Sportsbooks for MLB Betting
Teams have shown their capabilities, so we understand how teams perform. Here is my three-team parlay to nail on Wednesday in MLB.
Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels Picks
Rangers vs. Angels Betting Preview
Best Bet – Over 8.5 Runs
I expect the Rangers and Angels game to hit nine runs Wednesday night for a variety of reasons. This series has been defined by offense. In the first game of this series, the teams combined for 10 runs.
On Tuesday, the Rangers and the Angels scored eight runs. The Angels should lead the hit parade Wednesday night, but I think the Rangers will step up at the plate as well.
Jose Quintana will pitch for the Angels, and he has been horrendous in 2021. The pitcher is 0-1 with a 16.20 ERA in 2021. Mike Foltynewicz will throw for the Rangers, and he is 0-3 with a 5.63 ERA.
Jared Walsh and Mike Trout have led the Los Angeles offensive attack, and I believe they bring the total over Wednesday.
Houston Astros at Colorado Rockies Picks
Astros vs. Rockies Betting Preview
Best Bet – Astros Moneyline
The Astros lost the first game of the series on Tuesday by a score of 6-2. I think they bounce back and get the win Wednesday night.
Jose Urquidy will throw for the Astros. He has been okay, but Houston is going to win because of its offense.
The Astros were devastated of late because of injuries and COVID-19 protocol. In the past few days, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Martin Maldonado, and Yuli Gurriel have been sidelined because of contact tracing.
Altuve is not expected to play on Wednesday, but the majority of Houston’s lineup is back. Carlos Correa, Bregman, and Kyle Tucker should get to Austin Gomber at the plate. This will help Houston to get the win on Wednesday.
St. Louis Cardinals at Washington Nationals Picks
Cardinals vs. Nationals Betting Preview
Best Bet – Nationals Moneyline
The Cardinals are one of the most inconsistent teams in baseball. On Monday, they were dominant at the plate. However, St. Louis bats went cold on Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to the Nationals.
Carlos Martinez will pitch for the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. He is 0-3 with a 7.80 ERA, so the Nationals should succeed off of him.
Trea Turner is slashing .305/.349/.559 with four home runs and eight RBI. Starlin Castro is leading the league in RBI with 11, so he is also raking at the plate. Both these players are poised for big offensive games.
Max Scherzer will pitch for the Nationals. Scherzer has been the best pitcher in baseball over the past five seasons.
He has pitched three games in 2021 and has not picked up a win. Nevertheless, he has tossed 19 innings and racked up 24 strikeouts with a 2.37 ERA.
The Cardinals have the 18th-ranked on-base percentage in the league at .226. The numbers show that Scherzer is going to pitch well, giving the Nationals the win.
A $100 bet on my three-team parlay would yield over $900 in winnings.
