It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to hammer some player props. Player props are great because they give us an opportunity to limit risk.
When betting player props, we get to decide who to risk. It’s great to bet on individuals in the NBA because it’s a star-driven sport.

Jalen Green Over 14.5 Points
Jalen Green plays for a bad team in the Houston Rockets. However, this does not mean he cannot get the ball in the basket. Green is a natural scorer who can make plays from multiple areas of the floor.
I expect Green to shine tonight against the Spurs. San Antonio is not a great team. This will help the Rockets find their groove. When two bad teams meet, the stars will definitely step up. Green is one of those players.
Anfernee Simons Over 18.5 Points
Thunder vs. Trail Blazers Picks
Anfernee Simons is an under-the-radar star. It does not help Simmons that he plays for the Trail Blazers because they are not good. Simons has been shining lately, but he did have a rough night against the Thunder.
The Trail Blazers will play the Thunder once again. My money is on Simons to have a better night. This is the only game in his past five he has not gone over this point total.
Robert Williams Over 9.5 Points
The Celtics have seemed to find some kind of groove. They seem to be gelling, and it could lead to a trip to the playoffs. One of the players who has been critical in this run has been Robert Williams.
9.5 is a low total for Williams, who has been getting more minutes. This is a guy that camps under the rim and sucks up points. As long as Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum feed Williams, he will be just fine.
Williams has gone over this total three times in his past five. Williams needs to draw fouls to make plays.
Evan Mobley Under 18.5 Points
Evan Mobley is a star for the Cavaliers, and he has helped this team exceed expectations. However, the great part about Mobley is that he takes multiple forms. He is a natural scorer, but he takes on different roles.
This season, Mobley is averaging 14 points against the Hornets. He will play the Hornets tonight. He is coming off a boom points game against Houston, but he has only gone over this total once in his past four.
Mobley does multiple things on the floor to create points. This does not mean he will go over 18.5 points.
Nikola Jokic Under 8.5 Assists
Nikola Jokic will take on the Pelicans tonight. This matchup should be too easy for the best player in the league. Jokic will focus on scoring tonight when he gets open looks. I would go over on Jokic’s point total.
Yet, his assists total is too easy so take the under. He wants to score on Friday night.
