Week one of March Madness is nearly in the books. This has taken a lot of attention away from the NBA.
However, you should not forget about the NBA because there is a lot of betting value. The Sunday betting slate is loaded in the NBA, and the props are hot.
Player props are great because they limit liability. When betting on individuals, it’s much easier than teams because you only worry about a few players. This is the game plan for Sunday’s NBA slate.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks for Sunday, March 20.
Drew Eubanks Under 12.5 Points
Trail Blazers vs. Pacers Picks
Drew Eubanks is a power forward on a bad team in the Trail Blazers. When I bet on player props, I want to find a difference in listed totals and average points. Eubanks is dropping 5.7 PPG, and his total is set at 12.5 against the Pacers.
Indiana is not a good team, so Eubanks will have looks. However, he only had three points last time out against the Pacers.
If Eubanks has another dud performance, it would not be surprising. I think he has around ten points, giving us a few to spare.
RJ Barrett Under 24.5 Points
RJ Barrett is a boom or bust player on the Knicks. New York is a boom or bust team.
Typically, the Knicks do not step up to the task at hand against good teams. They will face the Jazz on Sunday, one of the best teams in the NBA.
Barrett is averaging 19.5 PPG, and his total is set at 24.5. He had a good game against Utah last time out but still stayed under this total. His hit rate on this total has been very low recently.
In his past five-game, he has gone over 24.5 one time.
Devin Booker Under 27.5 Points
Devin Booker is one of the most talented players in the NBA. He will likely lead the Suns back to the NBA Finals this season if they stay healthy. Booker is averaging 25.9 points this season, and his total is at 27.5.
This may be too close to call for most people, but keep in mind the Suns are playing Sacramento. The Kings are one of the worst teams in the game, so Booker’s time should be limited. He has played two games this season against the Kings.
In these two contests, he is averaging 24.5 points. I think he has a similar night to this and stays under.
Desmond Bane Under 21.5 Points
My reason for taking Desmond Bane’s under is similar to Booker’s. He is averaging 19.7 PPG against the Rockets this season in three games. His minutes are slightly down, and he seems to take the night off.
His total is a lot considering he is only averaging 18 PPG in his last ten.
Robert Williams Over 8.5 Points
Robert Williams has been a major reason the Celtics have been so successful this season. His total is at 8.5, and he is averaging 9.9 PPG. In one game against Denver, he dropped 15 points this season. I like Williams to go over on Sunday.
