Creighton has completely dominated the series, winning 21 consecutive games over the Blue Demons and 26 of the past 27 meetings. The Bluejays handled DePaul with ease in their last matchup, securing a 73-49 road win on Jan. 21. In that contest, Jamiya Neal recorded 14 points and seven rebounds, while Ryan Kalkbrenner contributed 13 points and eight boards.

Kalkbrenner, who leads Creighton with averages of 18.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, played a pivotal role in the Bluejays’ most recent victory, an 80-69 home win over Georgetown on Sunday. “I’ve been having some shooting slumps this year,” Blocker said. “But before the season, I was shooting pretty good, so I just got to get back into that rhythm and that confidence that I had preseason. So, just making the right reads, being confident, just shooting my shot.”

Blocker was also DePaul’s top scorer in the last meeting with Creighton, posting 15 points.

CJ Gunn, who had scored in double figures in 12 straight games before being limited to nine points against Butler, leads DePaul with an average of 12.2 points per game. NJ Benson contributes a team-high 6.1 rebounds per contest.
