TIME named the Architects of AI its 2025 Person of the Year on December 11, 2025. TIME has not announced when it will name the 2026 choice; the last two came on December 12, 2024, and December 11, 2025.
There is no 2026 price to quote yet, so this page names no favorite. It holds the record until TIME makes its next choice.
The 2025 choice
TIME’s editor-in-chief, Sam Jacobs, wrote that “no one had a greater impact than the individuals who imagined, designed, and built AI.” The issue ran with two covers, one illustrated by Peter Crowther and one painted by Jason Seiler, and the cover story included interviews with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Baidu CEO Robin Li.
The year before, TIME named Donald Trump, then president-elect, as its 2024 Person of the Year on December 12, 2024. It was his second time, after 2016.

How to read a Person of the Year price
When a book posts this market, turn each price into a chance before betting: +320 implies 23.8%, +750 implies 11.8% and +2000 implies 4.8%. A bet is worth making only when you rate the chance higher than the price does. A group pick like the Architects of AI is also a settlement question: check how a book words the option before you back it.
