The PGA Tour’s stop at Torrey Pines goes ahead under a new name: in 2027 it is The Sentry, played January 25-30 on the South and North Courses in San Diego, with the Tour’s only scheduled Saturday finish. There is no price to quote for it yet.
The last Farmers Insurance Open belonged to Justin Rose. He shot 62-65-68-70 for 23 under par in January 2026 and won by seven shots.
What changed at Torrey Pines
The Coast News reported that Farmers Insurance announced before the 2026 tournament that it would end its title sponsorship, and that the June 1 announcement of the new sponsor, made at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, kept the San Diego event on the schedule. The PGA Tour’s 2027 schedule, published August 26, 2026, lists The Sentry at Torrey Pines as a full-field event worth 500 FedExCup points.
The dates move with it. The 2026 Farmers ran January 29 to February 1, Thursday to Sunday. The 2027 event is listed as January 25-30, and it follows The American Express (January 18-24) and comes before the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (February 1-7), the first Signature Event of the year.

Betting The Sentry at Torrey Pines
An outright board opens once the field is close to set. When it does, turn each price into a chance: +1300 implies 7.1%, +2800 implies 3.4% and +10000 implies 1%. An outright is worth a bet only when you rate the player’s chance higher than that.
