Best Prop Bets For the Long Island Double Play Tonight

We bet you didn’t even know that Brooklyn is physically located on Long Island, did you? It’s really not THAT far a drive from Nassau Coliseum, which is in Nassau County, to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Unfortunately, however, unless you’re one of those magic people who can transport yourself from one place to another instantaneously, you wouldn’t be able to attend both of the big games on the agenda, in the event you happen to be in the New York area. Let’s face it – you probably couldn’t get a ticket anyway.

Best Sports Betting Sites for Props

But if you’re a sports bettor, you can CASH one. And we’re going to give you the opportunity to cash more than that.

Here are some of the props we’re playing on Game 7 between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks (which will determine who goes to the NBA Eastern Conference finals) and Game 4 of the Stanley Cup semis, where the New York Islanders try to draw even with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Bucks vs. Nets Props Predictions for Game 7

Bucks vs. Nets Betting Report

GIANNIS UNDER 52.5 POINTS+REBOUNDS+ASSISTS (-120)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a great player, and he is putting up great numbers. And he’s doing that despite being the focus of attention of every defense, including the Nets.

When you look at the stats, he has averaged 45.5 this season when he’s been on the road, and in this series he’s averaging 46.4 in the combined number.

In every game of this series against Brooklyn he has fallen JUST short of the posted figure – except Game 2, when he was well short – and as a result, he’s been on the “under” side for all six games thus far, which means we’ve cashed six tickets.

He’s made just 21 of 46 free throws, and that’s been a key.

NBA Odds

JAMES HARDEN UNDER 33.5 POINTS+REBOUNDS+ASSISTS (-108)

Harden managed 16 points in Game 6. But you know, his contributions here have been largely inspirational in nature. And he’s been pretty selfless, taking a back seat to Kevin Durant, who has really been rolling.

Of course, sports handicappers realize that he isn’t 100%. He’s played 46 and 40 minutes in the two games since he made his rather shocking comeback from a hamstring injury. But his stock-in-trade has been getting to the line, and he’s taken only eight free throws over these two games.

NBA Picks

KEVIN DURANT OVER 35.5 POINTS (-125)

Durant is averaging 33.3 points in the series, so on the surface this does not look like a huge percentage play. But Harden is practically playing on one leg (see above), and obviously Kyrie Irving is sitting this one out. Joe Harris has made 13 of 40 for three-point range, so no one would want to have to depend on him. The other guys, including Blake Griffin and Jeff Green, are role players.

If Durant took it upon himself to carry this team in Game 5, with his 49-point, 17-rebound, 10-assist masterpiece, there should be no question about his audacity in this situation. You don’t think he would let anyone else dominate the ball,d do you?

His usage rate in the series is 36.1%. To give you some perspective, Luka Doncic led the league this season with 36.0%. Why would that change? Under the circumstances, our expectations can be a little higher than this posted number.

Lightning vs. Islanders Props Predictions for Game 4

Lightning vs. Islanders Betting Report

NHL Odds

ISLANDERS VS.LIGHTNING: EXACTLY 3 GOALS (+550)

Okay, I want you to follow along here. Over the last nine playoff meetings between these two teams – which is actually the last nine meetings overall, since they did not play in the regular season – no less than FIVE of them have ended with a final score of 2-1.

While Tampa Bay is more respected for what it can do on the offensive end, both clubs are known for defense. The Lightning has one of the league’s premier goaltenders in Andrei Vasilevskiy and quite possibly the league’s Norris Trophy winner in Viktor Hedman. The Isles’ goalie, Semyon Varlamov, has had a marvelous season, and they are, by nature, a defensive-minded squad under Barry Trotz.

NHL Picks

NIKITA KUCHEROV OVER 0.5 ASSISTS (-145)

Even if we have a very low-scoring game, Nikita Kucherov could come up, well, sort of big. Tampa Bay has scored seven goals in the series, and the former MVP, who did not play during the regular season, has assisted on five of them. He’s okay, obviously, setting up plays for others, and he has a total of 18 assists in the postseason thus far.
