The Houston Texans are the market’s safest NFL survivor pick for Week 7. Their DraftKings moneyline at home to the Giants gives them a 75.1% chance to win once the bookmaker’s margin is removed, read at 01:01 UTC on Friday, October 16, 2026. The Rams (71.4%) and the Vikings (69.1%) are next.
A survivor pool asks for one team a week to win its game, and never the same team twice. A wrong pick ends the entry. So the two questions each week are which team is most likely to win, and whether it is worth using now. The market answers the first one with a number, and that number is what this page ranks.
NFL survivor picks for Week 7, ranked by win chance
Every team with a DraftKings moneyline this week, most likely winner first. The ranking is the market’s, not ours. We have a prediction up for seven of the 14 Week 7 games, and none of them has made its pick.

The Jets and 49ers share fourth place at 65.7%: both are -218.
Against the opening prices ESPN lists for DraftKings, the top three have moved: the Texans opened at -238 and are now -360; the Rams opened at -360 and are now -290; the Vikings opened at -162 and are now -258. Lines keep moving until kickoff.
DraftKings had no moneyline on three games at our read: Broncos at Cardinals, Chiefs at Seahawks and Cowboys at Eagles. Those six teams are not ranked here, because every figure on this page comes from one book.
Teams on a bye in Week 7
The Bills, Chargers, Commanders and Jaguars do not play in Week 7, so they cannot be picked this week.
Use a team now, or save it?
Saving a team is worth it when it would be the better option in a later week. The ESPN odds feed has no line on any Week 8 or 9 game yet, so the market cannot price that today. What is fixed is the schedule of the top five:
- Texans (75.1%): bye in Week 8; Week 9 at the Chargers.
- Rams (71.4%): Week 8 vs the Chargers; Week 9 at the Commanders.
- Vikings (69.1%): Week 8 at the Lions; Week 9 vs the Bills.
- Jets (65.7%): Week 8 vs the Raiders; Week 9 at the Chiefs.
- 49ers (65.7%): bye in Week 8; Week 9 vs the Raiders.
The Texans and 49ers are off in Week 8, so they cannot be used that week either way.
How to read the table
Moneyline. The price to back a team to win, with no points involved (what a moneyline is). -360 means risking $360 to win $100.
Implied. The win rate the price needs to break even: -360 needs 78.3%.
Chance, margin removed. On every game here the two sides add up to more than 100%, and the excess is the bookmaker’s margin. In Giants at Texans, 78.3% and 26.0% add up to 104.3%. Dividing each side by that total takes the margin out: 78.3 / 104.3 is 75.1%.
Prices were read at 01:01 UTC on Friday, October 16, 2026 (9:01 pm ET on Thursday, October 15). They move through the week, so the ranking is the market’s view at that hour. Every Week 7 game is also on the NFL Week 7 odds and predictions page, and every game we cover is on the NFL predictions hub.
