His second season was better on every shooting line. He made 22 of 57 threes in 2025-26 after 9 of 32 as a rookie, and his season total rose from 62 points to 122.

He finished 2025-26 in the rotation. In the Lakers’ final six regular-season games, with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves out injured, he averaged 7.2 points in 17.2 minutes on 47.2% shooting, according to ESPN.

Playing with LeBron

On March 27, 2026, against Brooklyn, LeBron passed to Bronny for a 26-foot three, and the play-by-play credited the first assist from a father to his son in NBA history. The Lakers won the game 116-99.

LeBron has since moved on. ESPN reported his decision to join the 76ers in July 2026, and the Lakers visit Philadelphia on March 4, 2027, for the second meeting.

Bronny James odds

Player props on Bronny, such as points or threes in a game, depend on a sportsbook posting them for that night. When one is posted, the arithmetic is the same as any prop: a -110 price needs 52.4% to break even. A bet is worth making only when you rate the chance higher than the price does.
