The Funniest Super Bowl Prop Bets For 2026
Check out our predictions for the funniest Super Bowl prop bets:
Will John 3:16 Sign Be Shown?
- Yes (+600)
- No (-1500)
The “John 3:16” sign is a long-running pop-culture and religious phenomenon that rose to prominence in the 1980s. The trend is credited to Rollen Stewart who became famous in the late 70s for wearing rainbow wigs, sitting behind the field goal posts or in front of TV cameras, and holding up the sign.
For those unaware, John 3:16 is one of the most popular bible verses as it says the following:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
The reason it became such a hit at football games is due to the large audiences, huge TV exposure, and pre-planned seating for maximum camera exposure. Plus, football games also crossed age, race and gender.
This sign has appeared at Super Bowls in the past. However, it might be harder nowadays since there’s more advertising around the stadium and on screen along with tighter security and less tolerance for signs like this.
With that said, let’s pray for a small miracle that this sign pops up on TV at some point. The odds are worth a flier.
Bet: Yes (+600)
Will Electrical Substation Near Stadium Be Mentioned?
- Yes (+700)
- No (-2000)
If you’ve paid attention to the NFL chatter over the last few weeks, then you have probably heard the outlandish claims that an electrical substation near Levi’s Stadium is the cause for the 49ers’ high rate of injuries this season.
The conspiracy theory details how electromagnetic fields (EMFs), from the Silicon Valley Power Mission Substation, have weakened players’ ligaments and tendons which led to the increase of injuries.
Since the Super Bowl is being held at Levi’s Stadium, the fans wearing tin-foil hats are proclaiming that we could see an increase of injuries during the big game.
With that said, medical experts and scientific researchers are already declaring this conspiracy theory to be baseless as there is zero scientific evidence to support it.
Regardless, sportsbooks are asking whether or not this issue will be mentioned on-air. So, with a grin and chuckle, I added this prop bet to our list. And, I can actually see one of the on-air personalities mention this during the Super Bowl.
So, let’s place a small flier on Yes. And, if we’re wrong, then we’ll just blame the EMFs in my neighborhood.
Bet: Yes (+700)
Total Olympics Commercials To Run
- Over 2 (-175)
- Under 2 (+135)
This is an easy Over. In fact, I find it to be hilarious that the Over/Under is set at just two commercials. The Winter Olympics is one of the biggest sporting events of the year. And, the kicker, NBC is covering it. So, why wouldn’t the bird-network air as many commercials as possible?
Take the Over and laugh as your bankroll increases due to the silliness of sportsbooks missing out on this one.
Bet: Over 2 commercials (-175)
Any Commercial To Make Fun Of Or Refer To Donald Trump?
- Yes (+800)
- No (-2500)
Ok, this is funny. What a world we live in where there’s a real shot that someone makes a commercial that pokes fun at Donald Trump. Don’t political ads from adversaries do this anyways So, why wouldn’t we see something like that during the Super Bowl coverage?
With that said, I’m either crazy or laughing too hard to think that Yes is a viable betting option for this prop.
Bet: Yes (+800)
Bitcoin Price During Kickoff and Final Whistle
- Price goes higher (-120)
- Price goes lower (-120)
Welcome to the crypto era ladies and gentlemen because it’s only going to become more prevalent in our every-day lives. With that said, Bitcoin has been tumbling in price over the last week. In fact, it broke key resistance levels during that time.
I expect the price to be lower coming into the coverage and for it to rise slightly by the time the Super Bowl wraps up on NBC and Peacock. So, take the price going higher option for this prop bet.
Bet: Price goes higher (-120)
Will There Be An ICE Protest At Levi’s Stadium?
- Yes (-1000)
- No (+550)
I am the furthest from being a political junkie or even talking about this. But the craziness surrounding ICE is unavoidable. Things have jumped the rails after people are dying at the hands of this agency. It’s hard to support that on any level.
As for this prop bet, it’s an easy Yes. California has been littered with protests over the last six months. In fact, things have heated up over the last few weeks in regards to the number of protests I have seen in my home state.
With the amount of media attention on the Super Bowl, along with the temperature being hot when it comes to anger towards ICE, I just hope there’s no violence this weekend.
Bet: Yes (-1000)
Will Trump Tweet On X During Super Bowl?
- Yes (+300)
- No (-500)
There was a time when this used to be a guaranteed Yes because Trump often used popular occasions to go on his unique rants via social media. I’m surprised that he hasn’t been tweeting as much. With that said, I’m taking the Yes for this prop bet. I see Trump taking a shot or two during the Super Bowl.
Bet: Yes (+300)
Which Will Be Higher?
- JSN Receptions in SB 60 (+300)
- USA Winter Olympic Gold Medals (-500)
This Cross Sports prop bet is an intriguing one because it pits Seattle’s top receiver against USA in the Winter Olympics. Jaxson Smith-Njigba finished 4th in the NFL during the regular season with 119 receptions over 17 games. That breaks down to seven receptions per game.
During the postseason so far, JSN tallied 13 total receptions which is an average of 6.5 catches per game. So, he’s right near his season average.
This prop bet comes down to whether or not JSN gets at least seven catches because America won eight gold medals in the 2022 Winter Olympics. USA is expected to win at least that many this time around.
I’m going with America in this one, but it will be very close. I’m taking JSN to finish with eight catches and America to get at least nine gold medals.
Bet: USA Winter Olympic Gold Medals (-500)
Color Of Dildo Thrown On The Field
- Rainbow (+275)
- Green (+325)
- Red/Pink (+500)
- Blue (+600)
I don’t know when or how this became a football ritual, but the tossing of dildos onto the field during a game has become more common than we would like to admit.
And, now, we have sportsbooks listing odds on the color of the first dildo to be thrown onto the field. As someone who has grown up with many Seattle Seahawks fans, I know that the “12” is filled with many nasty, crazy people.
So, I am taking green as the color of choice since it’s more representative of Seattle and its’ team colors.
Bet: Green (+325)
Will There Be A Streaker?
- Yes (+300)
- No (-500)
Make sure you read your sportsbook’s stipulations for this prop bet because it could be that an unauthorized person doesn’t have to be fully nude to count as a streaker.
In the history of the Super Bowl, we have seen only three streakers:
Super Bowl XXXVIII (2004) – This is the iconic streaker moment where Britain’s Mark Roberts ran on the field wearing just a thong. He was tackled by New England Patriots linebacker Matt Chatham. Yet, it became a famous moment in Super Bowl lore.
Super Bowl LV (2021) – At Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, a fan ran out on the field during the game wearing a one-piece outfit. His pink colored outfit was unavoidable. Security tackled him and law enforcement charged him with trespassing.
Super Bowl LVIII (2024) – During the Chiefs vs. 49ers game in Las Vegas, two people ran onto the field. They interrupted the game and halted action before security stopped them. Like the 2021 incident, these two knuckleheads weren’t fully nude.
There are two things that we can take from this:
- First – people got crazier following Y2J as the most notable Super Bowl streaking occurrences have taken place in the 21st century.
- Second – nobody has the courage to go out their fully nude. I guess shrinkage is too much to scare the male perpetrators from going in their birthday suits.
If these stadiums allowed more John 3:16 signs, then we might see less craziness and a little more common sense. Wait, who are we kidding here? Alcohol and social media have made everyone crazy.
Bet: No (-500)
