King threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 21-of-34 passing, and ran three times for 39 yards, including the winner. For Arizona, Carson Beck completed 15 of 19 for 188 yards and a touchdown, and Slovis went 9 of 10 for 106 yards and the go-ahead score.

The Cardinals, then based in St. Louis, played in the first Hall of Fame Game on August 11, 1962, a 21-21 tie with the New York Giants. The 2026 game was their sixth trip to Canton, and it leaves them 1-4-1 in the game.
Carolina’s only earlier appearance was in 1995, the franchise’s first season, when the Panthers beat Jacksonville 20-14 and held the Jaguars out of the end zone from the 3-yard line in the final seconds. The Panthers are now 2-0 in the Hall of Fame Game.
