2025 NASCAR Truck Series Championship Odds and Predictions

Last Updated on

Trick or Treat, give me a Truck Series Championship to eat! Ok, that doesn’t make sense but neither has Corey Heim’s record-setting season. Yes, he’s flashed potential but nothing prior to this NASCAR season indicated that Heim was going to dominate the Truck Series in one of the best year-long performances of all time.

So, it’s no surprise that Heim is the odds-on favorite to win the title on Halloween this Friday. Only the reigning Truck Series champ Ty Majeski is within striking distance of Heim on the betting boards.

Unlike the Xfinity Series Championship where two drivers are bump drafting for the title, and the Cup Series Championship where all four drivers have a real shot to win on Sunday, the Truck Series Championship seems to be a one-man show.

With that said, let’s take a look at the latest 2025 NASCAR Truck Series Championship odds, courtesy of the best sports betting sites, and make our NASCAR Truck Series Championship predictions.

From the opening lines for the 2025 Craftsman Truck Series season, Corey Heim has been the odds-on favorite to win the Championship. Despite his dominant season, a -190 line isn’t that crazy considering that the other three drivers in the Final Four have one combined race win compared to 11 victories for Heim.

While both Kaden Honeycutt and Tyler Ankrum have seen their odds dramatically shift from the opening of the Playoffs to this weekend’s Championship Race, only Ty Majeski is considered a potential hurdle for Heim this Friday.

Truck Series Championship Contenders

The following drivers are the final four contenders for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship:

Corey Heim

  • Wins: 11
  • Top 5: 18
  • Top 10: 20
  • 2024 Finish: 2nd
  • Career Best: 2nd in 2024

Last year, Corey Heim finished runner up in the Truck Series to Ty Majeski. This year, Heim is a sizable favorite over Majeski and the other remaining contenders.

In 24 races so far, Heim has 11 wins, 18 Top 5s, 20 Top 10s, and a mind-blowing 5.2 average finish. He’s accomplished something similar to what Connor Zilisch has done in the Xfinity Series by dominating the circuit unlike anything we’ve seen before.

Heim has won seven of the last 10 Truck Series races including last weekend in Martinsville. Furthermore, he’s finish in the Top 3 for all 10 of those races. In fact, Heim has 18 Top 3s in 24 races so far. It’s absolutely incredible.

Prior to his runner up last year, Heim was third in 2023. So, there has been a steady progression to the top of the Series but nothing that would indicate that he would rewrite the history books.

In three Phoenix starts, Heim has one Top 5, two Top 10s, and a 9.0 average finish. He’s also led laps in all three races.

Ty Majeski

  • Wins: 0
  • Top 5: 9
  • Top 10: 17
  • 2024 Finish: First
  • Career Best: First in 2024

Last year, Ty Majeski had three wins in his Championship season. This year, his closest win came in Richmond but he finished runner-up instead. On the season, Majeski has two runner ups and four Top 3s.

As I have stated in my Championship previews for the Xfinity Series and Cup Series, championship experience is an advantage for that driver. Justin Allgaier is the reigning Xfinity champ and competing for a second straight title like Majeski. Kyle Larson is the only driver in the Final Four to have won a Cup title (2021) and has that advantage in his back pocket.

With that said, it’s still going to be an uphill battle for Majeski who’s facing an unstoppable force in Heim.

The reigning Truck Series champ has 11 Top 10s in a row and five Top 5s in the last seven races. In his four Phoenix starts, Majeski only cracked the Top 10 once and that was last year when he won the race.

Can Majeski pull off the upset with another Truck win at Phoenix?

Kaden Honeycutt

  • Wins: 0
  • Top 5: 3
  • Top 10: 13
  • 2024 Finish: 19th
  • Career Best: 19th in 2024

Like Majeski, Kaden Honeycutt made the Final Four without winning a race on the season. In fact, he has just three Top 5s this year which was the lowest amount in the Top 9 drivers. His 13 Top 10s was the third lowest in the Top 10.

And, yet, a second-place finish at Martinsville last weekend gave him the tie breaker over Layne Riggs who was the second-best driver all year long.

Honeycutt has three Phoenix starts and has finished in the Top 9 for all of them. While he hasn’t led any laps in these races, this is a solid foundation to build off of. Combine that with his runner up last weekend, and Honeycutt is quietly cruising under the radar this weekend.

Tyler Ankrum

  • Wins: 1
  • Top 5: 8
  • Top 10: 15
  • 2024 Finish: 8th
  • Career Best: 8th in 2019 and 2024

Where Honeycutt and Majeski failed to win a race this year, Tyler Ankrum did pick up a victory this season, which came at Rockingham. Ankrum has also finished in the Top 9 for three straight races.

He’s going to have to rely on the consistency in this postseason to overcome his failures at Phoenix in the past. In seven starts, Ankrum has two Top 10s and a 17.6 average finish. He crashed out of the race last year, and hasn’t cracked the Top 10 since 2020. His best result was 6th in 2018.

With that said, I was high on Ankrum in May:

“There is a lot to like about Ankrum this season. I like his chances of competition for a spot in the Championship Race.”

He made me look like a smart man. Unfortunately, Ankrum is the biggest longshot of the remaining drivers and it will take a great deal of luck for the 24-year-old to win the Championship this weekend.

Craftsman Truck Series Championship Predictions

I have been pounding the table for Corey Heim all season long. At the start of the year, I predicted Heim would win his first Truck Series Championship. At the midpoint of the season, I made the following declaration:

“I think this is the year that Heim captures his first Craftsman Truck Series Championship. Get his line now while there’s still plus-money odds. They’re only going to shrink even further from this point on.”

That’s exactly what happened as his odds shrunk to -140 from +130 a few months prior. At the start of the Playoffs, I said the following:

“I think you should run to your sportsbook and drop big units on Heim to win the 2025 Craftsman Truck Series Championship.”

While there’s no value on Heim’s odds this weekend, he’s clearly the man to beat and on such a heater that I don’t see how he loses the race outside of a wreck.

Bet: Corey Heim (-190)
