The biggest game on the schedule this week is between Alabama and Arkansas during a week where most other SEC teams are winding down the season with games against lesser programs.

Arkansas vs. Alabama Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 3:30 p.m. on CBS

Odds: Arkansas +21 (110) vs Alabama -21 (110)

Alabama plays host to Arkansas this weekend in Tuscaloosa. Alabama is still ranked No. 2 in the country with Arkansas moving into the No. 25 spot. Last week the Crimson Tide did what they were expected to do. They dispatched New Mexico State with ease 59-3. That moved Alabama to a 9-1 overall record while going 5-1 in SEC play. Arkansas has righted the ship slightly and is riding a 3-game winning streak against two SEC rivals LSU, Mississippi State, and in-state foe Arkansas – Pine Bluff. That gives the Razorbacks a 7-3 record with only ‘Bama and Missouri left on the season. Alabama should “roll” past Arkansas but we’ve seen several teams take advantage of the Tide’s secondary for easy scores this season.

Best Bet: Arkansas +21 (110)

Florida vs. Missouri Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 4:00 p.m. on SEC Network

Odds: Florida -8 (110) vs Missouri +8 (110)

Florida and Missouri both need a win in the last two weeks of the season to become Bowl eligible. Each squad comes in at 5-5 overall on the season. The plus for both teams is they are entering the weekend coming off of a win. Missouri downed South Carolina in a close game 31-28. Florida’s win may not be one to brag about. The Gators scored 70 points in their win, but it was against Samford who posted 52 points against the Florida defense. The Gators took almost the entire game to adjust to the fast-paced offense of the Samford Bulldogs. Look for Missouri o try and speed up their time in the huddle to catch Florida out of position.

Best Bet: Missouri +8 (110)

2021 SEC Football Week 12 Predictions

Charleston Southern vs. Georgia Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 12:00 p.m. on SEC Network/ESPN+

No odds available

Georgia has cemented to the No. 1 spot as the regular season winds down. The Dawgs host Charleston Southern this weekend in a game that will most likely see them move to an 11-0 record before taking on in-state rival Georgia Tech. There are no odds for this game on intertops this week as Georgia should dispatch Southern with ease. The game plan will probably see many starters leave the playing field early to avoid the possibility of injury.

Best Bet: Georgia wins outright.

Prairie View vs. Texas A&M Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 12:00 p.m. on SEC Network/ESPN+

No odds available

Texas A&M has improved to a 7-3 record overall and is 4-3 in SEC play. They downed both Alabama and Auburn this season before losing to Ole Miss in their last outing. Regardless, Prairie view will not pose a threat to the Aggies before they take on LSU in two weeks to close out their regular season.

Best Bet: Texas A&M wins outright

New Mexico State vs. Kentucky Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 12:00 p.m. on SEC Network

Odds: New Mexico State +36 (110) vs Kentucky -36 (110)

Kentucky is second in the SEC East behind Georgia. The Wildcats are now 7-3 overall with SEC wins over Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, LSU, and Florida. Kentucky wants to tag on another win before taking on Louisville to close out the regular season. New Mexico State comes in at 1-9 on the year. And, they are still recovering from a 59-3 beating that Alabama laid on them. Kentucky should roll to an easy win with a running game that they will not be able to stop.

Best Bet: New Mexico State +36 (110)

Tennessee State vs. Mississippi State Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 12:00 p.m. on SEC Network/ESPN+

No odds available

This game is closer than one would expect. Tennessee State University is a fast-paced squad with plenty of speed. They do not have the size or depth that Mississippi State has but they do present a threat with a seasoned secondary. That being said, Mississippi downed Auburn’s defense after a slow start last week and they should not have an issue with the TSU Tigers.

Best Bet: Mississippi State wins outright.

Auburn vs. South Carolina Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN

Odds: Auburn -7 (110) vs South Carolina +7 (110)

Auburn and South Carolina meet this weekend for a game they both hope will close some of the wounds on the season. Auburn comes in 6-4 with an offense that either seems unbeatable, or completely inept. You never know which will show up. Plus, under defensive coach Derrick Mason, they seem to be unable to adjust during a game. As for South Carolina, the Gamecocks come in 5-5 on the year with a hit-and-miss offense similar to Auburn. They either click out first downs with ease, or they punt, and punt again. This game boils down to which squad makes the least mistakes.

Best Bet: South Carolina +7 (110)

Vanderbilt vs. Ole Miss Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network

Odds: Vanderbilt +36.5 (110) vs Ole Miss -36.5 (110)

Vanderbilt heads to Oxford to take on Ole Miss this weekend. Every indicator points towards Ole Miss downing the Commodores with ease. In past seasons we’ve seen Vandy surprise, several teams, a year but this does not appear to be something that’s going to happen this season. Vandy is 2-8 overall under new head coach Clark Lea. On the other side of the ball is Lane Kiffin who’s rumored to be in the running for coaching jobs at schools such as LSU or even Florida. That won’t be a big enough distraction for Vandy to grab a surprise win.

Best Bet: Vanderbilt +36 (110)

South Alabama vs. Tennessee Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU

Odds: South Alabama +27 (110) vs Tennessee -27 (110)

Both Tennessee and South Alabama are 5-5 on the season with the Vols looking for Bowl eligibility. South Alabama likes burning out the clock as Tennessee is a strike fast team. The Vols should be able to move the ball against the South Alabama secondary just from a speed matchup point of view. Historically, Tennessee has had problems putting away lesser teams down the stretch. Big Orange fans hate this type of game as they always seem to be unnecessarily hard to win. Hopefull coach Josh Heupel will break this stereotype.

Best Bet: South Alabama +27 (110)

UL Monroe vs. LSU Preview

When: Saturday, November 20 at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN2

Odds: UL Monroe +29 (110) vs LSU -29 (110)

This is a matchup against two 4-6 teams. UL Monroe can sometimes be a thorn in the side of bigger teams – but not this season. The Warhawks are riding a 3-game losing streak into the weekend, but then again, so are the Tigers. It looks like a matchup on paper, but LSU should run away with this game. The second to last for Coach Ed Orgeron as LSU Head coach.

Best Bet: UL Monroe +29 (110)
