What better way to start the weekend than with some NBA action? We have 10 match-ups to sink our teeth into on Friday night and I have scoured the bookies’ odds to find the best NBA player props for today’s games. Read on to discover my top five picks for March 24th.
Jayson Tatum – Over 8.5 Rebounds (-125)
Jayson Tatum produced a masterclass when the Boston Celtics crushed the Sacramento Kings earlier this week, registering 36 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Accordingly, I’m backing the 25-year-old to dish up another standout display against the Indiana Pacers.
Not only does Tatum average 30.1 points per game this season, but he also averages 8.9 rebounds. Having recorded 8+ rebounds in eight of his previous 10 appearances, Tatum shouldn’t struggle to notch over 8.5 rebounds when the inconsistent Pacers visit TD Garden.
Desmond Bane – Over 21.5 Points (-120)
Rockets vs. Grizzlies Prediction
The Memphis Grizzlies occupy second place in the Western Conference following a run of seven wins in eight games. By contrast, the Houston Rockets find themselves rock bottom of the standings, having won just 18 of their 73 encounters this season.
Memphis’ Desmond Bane has scored 20+ points in seven of his past 10 outings, racking up 50 points across his previous two games against Houston. With that in mind, I’m confident that Bane will grab over 21.5 points on Friday.
Kelly Olynyk – Under 13.5 Points (-130)
Bucks vs. Jazz Prediction
There is absolutely no denying that the Milwaukee Bucks have been the strongest team throughout the 2022-23 campaign, winning 52 of their 72 games to cement first place in the Eastern Conference. For that reason, I expect the Bucks to make light work of the Utah Jazz.
Kelly Olynyk has been a bright spot in an otherwise gloomy season for the Jazz, but the experienced forward has struggled for consistency of late. After scoring under 13.5 points in seven of his last 12 games, I can see Olynyk struggling against the high-flying Bucks.
Keegan Murray – Over 4.5 Rebounds (-115)
Keegan Murray is beginning to prove his worth to the Sacramento Kings. Of course, living in the shadow on Domantas Sabonis is always going to be tricky, but Murray has started to produce impressive performances on a consistent basis.
After notching 10 rebounds against the Chicago Bulls earlier this month, the 22-year-old has achieved 4+ rebounds in five successive outings. That’s why I’m backing Murray to bag over 4.5 rebounds against the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
Kevon Looney – Over 9.5 Rebounds (-110)
Kevon Looney has been racking up rebounds for fun recently, accumulating 69 across his previous seven appearances. Last time out, the Golden State Warriors center registered 12 rebounds when his team dispatched the Dallas Mavericks.
Although the Warriors face a tricky test against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, I’m confident that Looney will record over 9.5 rebounds. After all, the 27-year-old has notched 10+ rebounds in six of his last outings, with 15 coming against the Bucks and 16 against the Atlanta Hawks.
