Following another thrilling weekend of basketball, the NBA action continues this Monday, January 30th. Accordingly, I have analyzed the odds to find the best NBA player props picks for today’s games. Let’s get right into it!
Paolo Banchero – Under 18.5 Points (-110)
Thanks to a run of seven successive victories, the Philadelphia 76ers find themselves second in the Eastern Conference. On Monday, the 76ers host the Orlando Magic, who sit third from bottom after suffering back-to-back losses.
Paolo Banchero has arguably been Orlando’s standout performer this season, but the 20-year-old could struggle to enhance his reputation against high-flying Philly. With that in mind, I can see Banchero scoring under 18.5 points at the Wells Fargo Center.
Draymond Green – Over 7.5 Assists (+120)
When it comes to forwards, Draymond Green boasts the fourth-best assists per game ratio this season. The Golden State Warriors star averages 6.8 assists per game in 2022-23 and has dished up seven assists in each of the past three games.
When you look at the bigger picture, Green has contributed at least seven assists in each of his previous six appearances. Since the Warriors face the inconsistent Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, I’m confident that Green will add to his ever-growing tally of assists.
Kyle Kuzma – Over 23.5 Points (-125)
The Washington Wizards head into Monday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs on the second-longest current winning streak in the NBA, having claimed five consecutive victories to lift them up to ninth place in the Eastern Conference.
On the flip side, the Spurs find themselves second from bottom in the Western Conference following five straight losses. For that reason, I’m backing Washington’s Kyle Kuzma to extend his impressive scoring streak against lowly San Antonio.
Rudy Gobert – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-115)
Only two players – Domantas Sabonis and Giannis Antetokounmpo – average more rebounds per game than Rudy Gobert this season. Averaging 11.7 rebounds per game, the dominant center has been one of the NBA’s standout performers on 2022-23.
After racking up 16 rebounds against the Houston Rockets last week, Gobert registered 12 and 13 in the next two games before adding 14 to his collection against the Sacramento Kings last time out. The Timberwolves face the Kings again on Monday, so I expect Gobert to record at least 12 rebounds.
Deandre Ayton – Over 10.5 Rebounds (-115)
In terms of first overall picks, Deandre Ayton boasts the best rebounds per game average this season. The first pick in the 2018 draft has chalked up 422 rebounds across 42 outings, meaning he averages 10 rebounds per game in 2022-23.
Earlier this month, Ayton recorded 14 rebounds against the Brooklyn Nets before dishing up 20 against the Dallas Mavericks. With the inconsistent Toronto Raptors up next for Ayton and the Phoenix Suns, I expect the Bahamian superstar to enjoy even more success on Monday.
