UFC Vegas 62 will be hosted at UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The prelims will get underway at 4:00 PM ET and the main card begins at 7:00 PM ET. All of the action on Saturday can be watched live on ESPN+ (USA) or TSN (Canada).
Alexa Grasso will fight Viviane Araujo in the main event and Cub Swanson will fight Jonathan Martinez in the co-main event. There are twelve fights scheduled for UFC Vegas 62.
Grasso vs. Araujo Predictions
Fight Odds: Grasso (-225) vs. Araujo (+190)
Grasso (14-3) is ranked #5 in the women’s flyweight division, while Araujo (11-3) is ranked #6. This is an important fight for both contenders if they want to have a chance at fighting for the title.
Araujo is 3-1 since 2020 with the lone loss against Katlyn Chookagian. She’s coming off a win against Andrea Lee (Decision). Her last six fights have gone the distance.
Grasso has won three consecutive fights and she earned her first submission win against Joanne Wood in her last fight. Prior to the submission win, her previous four fights had all gone the distance.
Grasso averages 4.92 SLpM and 3.79 SApM, while Araujo averages 4.76 SLpM and 5.13 SApM. Grasso will have the edge in the striking department, but Araujo will have the edge on the mat.
Araujo averages 2.23 takedowns per 15 minutes and Grasso only has 60% takedown defense.
This is a tough main event to predict. Grasso should win, but she could end up in trouble on the mat if Araujo can land takedowns. I recommend betting on Grasso to win by decision.
Best Bet: Grasso By Decision (+130)
Swanson vs. Martinez Predictions
Fight Odds: Swanson (+175) vs. Martinez (-205)
Swanson (28-12) is 3-1 in his last four fights and he’s coming off a TKO win against Darren Elkins. In the fight prior, he was knocked out by Giga Chikadze. Both fights ended in the opening round.
Martinez (16-4) has won his last three fights by decision. He has 7 TKO/KO wins in his career, though, so he has power. He has been knocked out once, while Swanson has been knocked out twice.
Swanson averages 4.66 SLpM and 3.65 SApM. Martinez averages 4.72 SLpM and 3.77 SApM. They both have a 70” reach. Neither fighter is known to take the fight to the mat very often.
With both guys likely exchanging strikes in the middle of the cage, there’s a good chance this fight will end by stoppage. I recommend betting on this fight to not go the distance.
Best Bet: Fight Doesn’t Go to Decision (+110)
Martinez vs. Davis Predictions
Fight Odds: Martinez (-150) vs. Davis (+130)

Brandon Davis (14-9) is my underdog special against Mana Martinez (9-3) in a prelims fight.
Davis was knocked out in his last fight against Batgerel Danaa. He has now lost three consecutive UFC fights and needs a win badly. Martinez is coming off a loss against Ronnie Lawrence (Decision).
Davis has a big experience edge in the UFC and that’ll help him in this fight. This fight will likely remain on the feet for the most part and Davis has the striking edge, but he needs to improve his striking defense.
Martinez averages 3.80 SLpM and 3.55 SApM, while Davis averages 4.63 SLpM and 4.46 SApM.
Davis will have a 2” reach advantage and he needs to utilize that to avoid losing the striking battle. If the fight does end up on the mat, Davis is also capable of locking in a submission.
Best Bet: Davis ML (+130)
UFC Vegas 62 Parlay Predictions
This fight card looks like it should be ideal for parlay bettors. There are several mid-size favorites that should win on Saturday, which when parlayed together will offer a nice potential payout.
Here’s my best UFC Vegas 62 parlay bet:
Askarov ML + Todorovic ML + Menifield ML (Payout Odds: +213)
Askar Askarov (14-1-1) lost a close fight by decision against Kai Kara France last time out and he’ll want to bounce back quickly with a win against Brandon Royval (14-6).
Royval has won two in a row and is always a threat to land a submission, but Askarov is also strong on the mat. Royval has 39% takedown defense and will likely be on his back a lot in this fight.
Dusko Todorovic (11-3) is only 1-3 in his last four fights dating back to last year. He’s coming off a KO loss against Chidi Njokuani. Jordan Wright (12-3-0-1) is also 1-3 in his last four fights.
This is a great opportunity for Todorovic to pick up a much needed win. Both fighters are active strikers (Wright: 7.37 SLpM / Todorovic: 5.36 SLpM), but Wright has terrible striking defense.
Todorovic will be able to pick apart his opponent and land a knockout.
Alonzo Menifield (12-3) is 3-1 in his last four fights and he’s coming off a win against Askar Mozharov by TKO in the first round. Misha Cirkunov (15-8) has lost three fights in a row (two by stoppage).
Cirkunov has been trending in the wrong direction. He’ll look for takedowns, but Menifield has 83% takedown defense. Cirkunov has been knocked out four times and Menifield will make it five.
