Napoli vs Juventus Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
No bet on Napoli at Juventus. Our widest gap is 4.0 points on Juventus, and a bet needs 5.
DraftKings has Juventus at +120, the draw at +215 and Napoli at +225, read 30 October at 20:05 UTC. A book builds in a margin, the extra that makes its prices add to more than 100%. Here it is 8.0%. With it removed, the market gives Juventus 42.1%, the draw 29.4% and Napoli 28.5%.
Our number is Juventus 46.1%, the draw 27.4% and Napoli 26.4%. Juventus sit 4.0 points above the market. The draw is 2.0 below and Napoli 2.1 below. The rule is fixed before the pick: an outcome is a bet when our chance is at least 5 points above the market’s. Nothing here clears it.
How 46.1% is reached
Each side’s expected goals start from the league’s average goals at that venue. That average is then scaled by the side’s scoring rate at its venue and by the opponent’s conceding rate at the other venue, both measured against the league. A Poisson model, a standard way of turning an average goal count into the chance of each score, turns the two figures into a home win, a draw and an away win.
Both clubs run on 2025-26: 19 home games for Juventus and 19 away for Napoli. The league averages behind them come from the same season’s 380 games, 1.28 goals a game for the home side and 1.15 for the visitor. This season’s 4 home games for Juventus and 5 away for Napoli are not in the number.
Juventus scored at home at 1.44 times the league’s home rate. Napoli conceded away at 0.74 of it. Together that gives Juventus 1.37 expected goals. Napoli scored away at 1.14 times the visitor’s rate, Juventus conceded at home at 0.73 of it, and Napoli come out at 0.96. A gap of that size points to Juventus, and the market agrees with most of it.
Juventus at home, Napoli on the road
The splits that feed the number come from last season. At Allianz Stadium Juventus went 10-7-2 (wins, draws, losses) in 19 games, scoring 1.84 a game and conceding 0.84. Napoli on the road went 10-3-6 in 19, scoring 1.32 a game and conceding 0.95.
The other halves are left out. Juventus away last season were 9-5-5, scoring 1.37 and conceding 0.95. Napoli at home were 13-4-2, scoring 1.74 and conceding 0.95. Napoli’s home form was the better half of their season, and the method does not use it for a game in Torino.
This season so far
None of this is in our number. Juventus are 2-1-1 at home in 2026-27, with 5 scored and 4 conceded: 1.25 and 1.00 a game, against 1.84 and 0.84 last season. Napoli are 2-1-2 away, with 9 scored and 6 conceded: 1.80 and 1.20 a game, against 1.32 and 0.95.
Both records read as worse for Juventus than last season’s splits. The league is also scoring more, at 1.61 home and 1.54 away goals a game over 90 games, up from 1.28 and 1.15. Four and five games prove nothing on their own. We give them as context only.
The season around it
The two clubs are level on 14 points after 9 games. Both are 4-2-3. Napoli are 7th of 20 with 17 scored and 11 conceded. Juventus are 8th with 11 scored and 10 conceded.
Last season Napoli finished 2nd with 76 points from 23-7-8, scoring 58 and conceding 36. Juventus were 6th with 69 points from 19-12-7, scoring 61 and conceding 34.
ESPN lists five games between the two since March 2024, and Napoli lead 3-1 with a draw. At Napoli’s ground they won 2-1 on 3 March 2024, on 25 January 2025 and on 7 December 2025. In Torino it was 0-0 on 21 September 2024, and Juventus won 3-0 on 25 January 2026. None of the five feeds the number.
Pick: no bet
No bet on the result. The best gap is Juventus at 4.0 points against a 5-point threshold. The price is DraftKings +120, read 30 October 2026 at 20:05 UTC.
The market has Juventus at 42.1% and we have 46.1%. That leans the same way the market already does, and the lean is too small to stake.
What kills the bet
Here the question is what would create a bet. Juventus become a bet at +126 or longer, against +120 now. That is the closest of the three. The draw needs +314 or longer, against +215, and Napoli need +333 or longer, against +225.
This page says nothing about who is available on 1 November. A change in either lineup is outside the method. Check the lineups before you bet.
The total
The total is 2.5 goals, with the over at +100 and the under at -125. Without the margin the market has the over at 47.4% and the under at 52.6%. Our number has the over at 41.2% and the under at 58.8%, which puts our over 6.2 points below the market. The method never bets the goals, so this stays a reference figure. It is no second bet.
The game counts lean low for Juventus. This season 2 of their 9 league games went over 2.5. For Napoli it was 5 of 9. Last season it was 15 of 38 for Juventus and 20 of 38 for Napoli.
