This is it. Yes, there is a Week 15, but that week is set aside for the annual Army vs. Navy rivalry game. So, Week 14 is it for the rest of the nation. There are a handful of games this week that will greatly affect the final College Football Playoff rankings.

And, it’s rivalry week! Some of the biggest rivalries in the sport of college football will be played this weekend. The annual Egg Bowl – Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State – kicks off the festivities on Friday afternoon. There are a number of in-state rivalry games and we also get the granddaddy of them all on Saturday.

That game is among several that feature ranked opponents. There are three such games on Friday and three more on Saturday. All will somehow influence the 2025 College Football Playoffs in some fashion. Here are those games:

  • No. 4 Georgia vs. No. 23 Georgia Tech (Fri)
  • No. 3 Texas A&M @ No. 16 Texas (Fri)
  • No. 25 Arizona @ No. 20 Arizona State (Fri)
  • No. 1 Ohio State @ No. 15 Michigan (Sat)
  • No. 12 Miami @ No. 22 Pittsburgh (Sat)
  • No. 14 Vanderbilt @ No. 19 Tennessee (Sat)

The results of these games are crucial in setting up the remainder of the season. These final weeks of the regular season are super important. Teams with their eyes on a conference championship or a berth in the playoffs cannot afford an upset loss on this final weekend of play.

As we get into these final weeks of the regular season, be sure you are checking ScoresandStats on a daily basis from now until the college football national championship game. Our NCAAF experts will continue to provide inside analysis, free picks, game predictions, and more!

College Football Week 14 Predictions

Let’s take a look at the featured College Football Week 14 games and make our NCAAF Picks for each game.

Ole Miss Rebels @ Mississippi State Bulldogs Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Ole Miss Rebels-278-7 (-105)O 62.5 (-110)
Mississippi State Rebels+225+7 (-115)U 62.5 (-110)

It’s the annual Egg Bowl featuring Ole Miss and Mississippi State. The two teams meet for the 92nd time in history. Ole Miss leads the series 57-30-4 so far, and they’ve won each of the last two meetings. Both of those games went down to the wire. Mississippi State stole a win in  2022.

Ole Miss Rebels @ Mississippi State Bulldogs Predictions

Ole Miss is the far superior team. The offense is elite, averaging over 37 points per game. The passing game ranks fifth in the nation, led by QB Trinidad Chambliss.

Mississippi State had great success early in the season, but the Bulldogs did not fare so well against SEC competition. Head coach Jeff Lebby and company have lost six of their last seven games. The defense isn’t good and has allowed over 31 points per game.

The Bulldogs gave up 41 and 49 points in their last two games. Ole Miss is the type of offense that can do the same even though this is a rivalry game.

Bet: Ole Miss -278, Ole Miss -7 (-105), Under 62.5 (-110)

Georgia Bulldogs @ Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Georgia Bulldogs-600-14 (-108)O 59.5 (-110)
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets+440+14 (-112)U 59.5 (-110)

The Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will wage war for the 119th time in their matchup history. It’s been mostly Bulldogs lately, while Georgia holds a massive 72-41-5 edge in the all-time series.

Georgia Tech last stole a win back in 2016, when they narrowly pulled out a 28-27 upset. The Bulldogs have won all seven meetings since, however, including a wild 44-42 thriller last year.

The Yellow Jackets have covered each of the last three games in the series.

Georgia Bulldogs @ Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Predictions

Georgia Tech gave Georgia hell in that crazy two-point loss last season. They covered again against Georgia as 17-point underdogs. Now, the spread is down to 14. Can they do it again?

The Yellow Jackets had a serious letdown last week as Pitt came to town and stomped them. GT was never in that game right from the very beginning. Brent Key is one heckuva coach and will have his team ready for this rivalry game.

Georgia’s defense has actually played better over its last four games. The Bulldogs held those four opponents to 21 or fewer points. While this could be a higher-scoring game, look for Georgia’s defense to come through with another strong performance. Still, the Yellow Jackets have what it takes to cover.

Bet: ML pass, Georgia Tech +14 (-112), Under 59.5 (-110)

Texas A&M Aggies @ Texas Longhorns Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Texas A&M Aggies-125-2.5 (-115)O 51.5 (-110)
Texas Longhorns+105+2.5 (-105)U 51.5 (-110)

This is a tense inter-state duel, but it’s been all Texas (77-37-5) for much of the matchup’s history. The Longhorns won a reasonably close game last year (17-7) and have claimed victory in four of the last five meetings.

It’s a renewed rivalry game that wasn’t played for a while as the two teams were in different conferences. Now, it’s the No. 3 Aggies against the No. 16 Aggies with a potential playoff berth for at least one of these programs on the line.

Texas A&M Aggies @ Texas Longhorns Predictions

The Aggies secure a spot in the SEC championship game with a win. A loss would require some upsets on rivalry weekend. Texas can spoil the Aggies chances of reaching the title game with an upset victory. That is going to be difficult.

Texas A&M’s offense can score on anyone. Texas, known for its outstanding defense, has given up over 30 points in each of its last three games. Texas A&M has scored 31 or more in six straight games. The Aggies average 38.1 points per game.

Look for the Aggies offense to continue its success against a Longhorns defense that has had some recent issues.

Bet: Texas A&M -125, Texas A&M -2.5 (-115), Over 51.5 (-110)

Ohio State Buckeyes @ Michigan Wolverines Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Ohio State Buckeyes-410-10 (-112)O 43.5 (-115)
Michigan Wolverines+320+10 (-108)U 43.5 (-105)

College football fans get a classic in week 14, as the Ohio State Buckeyes cross the state border to take on the Michigan Wolverines. It’s a huge Big 10 matchup we’ve seen countless times, with the Big Blue holding a 62-52-6 all-time edge.

Michigan has the better overall record, and they’ve also been hot in this series, winning each of the last four meetings. That includes last year’s matchup, where Michigan gutted out a tough 13-10 victory.

Ohio State Buckeyes @ Michigan Wolverines Predictions

Ohio State is back in the driver’s seat, cruising toward another national championship. In the way is the Buckeyes biggest rival. Last year, Ohio State lost to Oregon earlier in the season and then to Michigan before getting a playoff berth.

The Buckeyes are a shoo-in to receive a playoff berth this season. Michigan has achieved above expectations this season, but they really played the bottom of the barrel in the Big Ten. They didn’t face Indiana, Oregon, or Iowa this season.

The best team they faced in conference play was USC. The Wolverines lost to the Trojans 31-13. Ohio State’s offense is much better than USC’s. The Ohio State defense might be the best unit on the field on Saturday.

Bet: ML pass, Ohio State -10 (-112), Over 43.5 (-115)

Vanderbilt Commodores @ Tennessee Volunteers Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Vanderbilt Commodores+124+3 (-115)O 65.5 (-110)
Tennessee Volunteers-148-3 (-105)U 65.5 (-110)

There’s no question that Tennessee owns this series. The Volunteers have a 79-32-5 overall record against Vanderbilt. Tennessee has won each of the last six games in the series. All of those wins came by double digits.

Vanderbilt Commodores @ Tennessee Volunteers Predictions

Two elite offenses will go up against one another. Vandy QB Diego Pavia is absolutely amazing. The Commodores offense is really built around the run, but Pavia and the pass offense rank 16th in the nation. The result is an offense that scores 38.9 points per game.

Tennessee lives and dies by the pass. The Vols are led by QB Joey Aguilar and pass for 307.9 yards per game. That is seventh-best in the country. Tennessee is No. 4 in the nation in scoring averaging 42.3 points per game.

Both defenses are outstanding against the run, but not so much against the pass. That’s where both teams could find a lot of success.

Vandy hasn’t won this game in quite a while. The point spread hasn’t been this low since Vanderbilt was a 3-point home favorite against Tennessee in 2018. That was the Commodores last win. They might not get the win here, but Vandy will battle.

Bet: Tennessee -140, Vanderbilt +3 (-115), Under 65.5 (-110)

Oregon Ducks @ Washington Huskies Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Oregon Ducks-270-7 (105)O 50.5 (-115)
Washington Huskies+220+7 (-115)U 50.5 (-105)

The Oregon Ducks battle the Washington Huskies in what will be the 118th meeting between these two schools. Oregon won the most recent meeting in 2024 (49-21) in convincing fashion, but they lost the previous three games in the series.

Washington, surprisingly, is 3-1 over the last four games in this series. The Ducks appear headed toward a potential Big Ten title game as well as a College Football Playoff appearance.

Oregon Ducks @ Washington Huskies Predictions

Washington isn’t the powerhouse they’ve been in past years, but the Huskies are 8-3 under head coach Jedd Fisch. They’ve got a powerful running game and a dynamic quarterback in Demond Williams.

Oregon is looking to put the finishing touches on another elite season, but they have to go on the road to get a season-ending victory against a team on the rise.

Oregon’s offense is hard to stop. QB Dante Moore is super efficient and the running game averages right around 200 yards per game. The Ducks average 39.3 points per game.

On the other side, Washington is one of the better defenses in the country. The Huskies rank in the top 20 (17th) against the run and they are 19th in scoring defense, allowing 18.8 points per game this season.

Last year in Eugene, the spread was 17.5. This year, it opened as Oregon -12.5 and has fallen all the way down to -6.5 at some books. Oregon’s defense is elite, but in a lower-scoring game (the total has also fallen), the Huskies have a better chance of covering.

Bet: ML pass, Washington +7 (-115), Under 50.5 (-105)

Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Stanford Cardinal Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Notre Dame Fighting Irish-9000-31.5 (-115)O 50.5 (-115)
Stanford Cardinal+2500+31.5 (-105)U 50.5 (-105)

These two sides have clashed 38 times in history, with Notre Dame holding a decisive 24-14 edge. Notre Dame has been the aggressor lately, too, winning each of the last two games in the series. They have done so fairly easily, with the Fighting Irish prevailing 49-7 last year and 56-23 the year prior.

Stanford did sneak by in a 16-14 upset in 2022, but Notre Dame has otherwise been in full control with wins in five of the last six meetings.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Stanford Cardinal Predictions

Notre Dame should be in complete control of this one too. Stanford did get a big win in their rivalry game last week against Cal. The Cardinal are just not ready yet to compete with a juggernaut like the Irish.

The Fighting Irish had a shot at a title in 2024 and with the regular season drawing to a close, they’re hoping they can finish the job this year. That means taking care of business in games they ought to win – like this one.

Notre Dame has been working to get into the playoff after losing its first two games of the season. They’ve been doing a great job of it thus far. The offense averages 41.4 points per game. The defense is elite as well – 13th in the nation, 17.4 points per game.

Notre Dame has covered three straight double-digit spreads. Two of those spreads were 30-plus. Don’t be scared of a big number with the Irish.

Bet: ML pass, Notre Dame -31.5 (-115), Under 49.5 (-112)

Best College Football Week 14 Bets

Here are our favorite bets this week:

  • Ohio State -10 (-112)
  • Texas A&M -1.5 (-115)
  • Vanderbilt-Tennessee Under 65.5 (-110)

The Buckeyes have had enough with Michigan. They’ve lost four straight to Michigan and would love nothing more than sticking it to the “school up north.” Ohio State is elite on both sides of the ball and they can control a so-so Michigan offense for four quarters.

The Aggies are the superior team in their in-state battle with Texas. Arch Manning has played well against teams that don’t have great defenses. Georgia held Manning and the Longhorns to just 10 points. Mike Elko is a defensive-minded head coach. Don’t be surprised if the Aggies have similar success against Texas.

The number is just too high for Vandy and Tennessee. Yes, both have elite offenses and can put up a ton of points. Both defenses are outstanding against the run but have issues against the pass. Vandy likes to play slowly too, which uses up the clock. The last time the total for this game was in the 60s, the total went Under.
