Game Preview: Jacksonville Jaguars vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Jacksonville Jaguars look to bounce back from a two-game skid when they visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Kickoff at Allegiant Stadium is set for 4:05 PM ET on FOX.

Jacksonville Jaguars Outlook
The Jaguars enter Week 9 seeking consistency on both sides of the ball. Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 1,620 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, but protection has been a problem lately — Jacksonville allowed 14 sacks in its last two games.
Running back Travis Etienne Jr. continues to anchor the ground game with 514 rushing yards, while rookie Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter provide depth in the passing attack. The defense, which thrived on takeaways early in the season, will look to rediscover that aggressiveness after forcing none during the recent slide.

Las Vegas Raiders Outlook
The Raiders’ offensive struggles have been glaring, averaging just 14.7 points per game — 31st in the NFL. Head coach Pete Carroll expects that to change with the return of Brock Bowers, who hasn’t started since Week 1 but brings elite speed and size to the passing attack.
Quarterback Geno Smith will look to reduce turnovers after throwing 10 interceptions, the most in the league. On the ground, rookie Ashton Jeanty provides a spark, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. Defensively, Las Vegas remains competitive, ranking 11th in sacks and top 15 in takeaways.
Veteran receiver Tyler Lockett could make his debut after signing earlier this week, reuniting with Carroll from their Seattle days. His presence may help stretch the field and open up room for Tre Tucker and Bowers underneath.
