The College Football season consists of 16 weeks before the Bowl Game season begins. However, Week 15 is marked as Conference Championship week. This is the time of the year where the major NCAAF conferences hold their championship games, which often have a direct impact on the College Football Playoffs and the odds for winning the 2026 College Football Championship.
There are nine Conference Title matchups scheduled for Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, 2025. Although it’s impossible to know which teams will play in these title games, we can look at some data and details for these potential matchups.

2025 AAC Conference Championship Game
This game was first introduced in 2015. Since its inception, ABC has broadcasted it. This year, it will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Heading into the season, the Tulane Green Wave are the odds-on favorites to win the AAC Conference. They’re followed closely by the Navy Midshipmen. Could we see both teams end up playing against each other in this AAC title game.
2025 ACC Conference Championship Game
The 2025 ACC Championship Game will be held on Saturday, December 6, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. It marks the 73rd season of ACC Football, but just the second year with 17 teams in the conference.
As we head into the season, the Clemson Tigers are favored to win the ACC Conference. The Miami Hurricanes are a distant second. Just like last year, the Stanford Cardinal are the biggest longshots to win the ACC with +50000 odds.
2025 Big 12 Conference Championship Game
2025 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 6, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This is the second year in a row that Big 12 football will hold a 16-team conference. The larger conference made for a thrilling 2024 season.
As we head into the 30th Big 12 season, there are a handful of teams packed together at the top of the betting boards to win the Big 12 Conference title. The Arizona State Sun Devils and Kansas State Wildcats are at the top, with the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Utah Utes, and Baylor Bears right on their heels.
2025 Big 10 Conference Championship Game
The Big Ten was the best conference last year as they sent several teams to the Playoffs and went on to win the National Championship. Last season was also the first time that the conference held a Big Ten title game where the #1 and #2 teams played.
For the 16th time, the Big Ten title game will be held on Saturday, December 6, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Heading into the season, the Ohio State Buckeyes are favored to win the Big Ten Conference. Both the Penn State Nittany Lions and Oregon Ducks are close behind the Buckeyes on the boards. The rest of the conference are desperately chasing these three teams.
2025 Conference USA Championship Game
The 21st annual Conference USA Championship game will be played on Friday, December 5, on CBS. The game will not be played at a neutral site like other championships. Instead, this game is played at the location of the Conference’s top seed.
This is a huge advantage as the host team for the title game has gone 15-5 over the last 20 years. Last year, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks won their first ever Conference USA title.
The Liberty Flames enter the season as the odds-on favorite to win the Conference USA Championship. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are a close second. Jacksonville State is a distant third to repeat as the champs.
2025 MAC Conference Championship Game
The 2025 MAC Conference Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 6, at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. It marks the 29th championship game overall and the 22nd time being held in Detroit.
The Toledo Rockets enter the 2025 College Football season as the odds-on favorites to win the MAC Conference title. They’re followed closely by the Ohio Bobcats who won the Conference Championship last year for the first time since joining the conference.
2025 Mountain West Conference Championship Game
The 27th season of the Mountain West Conference will conclude on Friday, December 5, with the Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship. However, the site of the title game won’t be known until the team with the top winning percentage in the conference has been decided.
This year, the Boise State Broncos enter as a massive betting favorite despite losing Ashton Jeanty after winning the MWC title last year.
2025 SEC Conference Odds and Predictions
The 93rd season of the Southeastern Conference will conclude with an SEC Championship game on Saturday, December 6, at the Mecedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Last year, was the first season in 34 years that the SEC played without divisions. And, it was a fantastic season especially with the debuts of the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners.
The Longhorns enter the season as the odds-on favorites to win the SEC Championship. They’re followed closely by last year’s champs the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia and Alabama have won the last five SEC titles.
2025 Sun Belt Conference Championship Game
2025 marks the 25th season for the Sun Belt Conference and it will conclude with their Championship game on Saturday, December 6. This will be the 8th Conference Championship game since it debuted in 2018.
However, the location of the Sun Belt Championship game will not be decided until the divisional winner with the best record is determined. Yes, the Sun Belt is one of the only conferences that still uses divisions.
Last year, the Marshall Thundering Herd won the Conference Title. However, they enter this season as a longshot to repeat as the champs. Instead, the James Madison Dukes are the pre-season favorites to win the Sun Belt Conference despite never even appearing in the title game
