Standings are ESPN’s, read on 24 September 2026. ESPN’s 2026 table has 13 teams, with Sacramento State in and Northern Illinois gone from last season’s. Each team plays eight MAC games.
Bowling Green is the only team without a win. It opened with a 20-13 home loss to Tarleton State and has since lost 56-7 at Nebraska and 55-7 at Iowa State.
Results so far
The one MAC game was on 29 August in Ypsilanti: Eastern Michigan 28, Sacramento State 17. Eastern Michigan has lost three straight since, to San José State, Michigan State and Wisconsin.
Western Michigan came within a point at Michigan, losing 13-12 to the No. 16 team on 5 September. It then beat Monmouth 49-14 and won 28-21 at Rice. Massachusetts won 37-21 at Rutgers on 3 September and followed with home wins over Sacred Heart, 37-10, and Stonehill, 36-14.
Toledo lost 30-20 at Michigan State, then beat Temple 49-48 on 19 September. Two MAC teams have been to Ohio State and lost by 53 and 56: Ball State 56-3 on 5 September, Kent State 59-3 on 19 September.

These are DraftKings’ 2026 MAC winner prices as listed by ESPN on 24 September 2026. The market has Sacramento State in it and no Northern Illinois, which matches this season’s membership and not last season’s. Break-even is 100 divided by the price plus 100: Western Michigan at +164 has to win the league 37.9% of the time to break even. The 13 rates add up to 117.7%.
The prices and the records point different ways. Massachusetts, the only unbeaten team, is seventh at +2500, and Miami (OH) is third at +475 with a 1-2 record. Miami’s losses were 59-14 at Pittsburgh and 35-31 at Cincinnati.
