Like the NASCAR Cup Series, the sport’s secondary circuit has seen some key changes this offseason. Most notably, the series has changed title sponsors. We will no longer be calling it the Xfinity Series. Instead, it will be called the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
Additionally, the circuit’s biggest star Connor Zilisch has left to drive in the Cup Series fulltime where he could battle for a NASCAR Cup Championship.
Also, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series implemented a Chase Format just like the Cup circuit. This could definitely impact some of the fringe drivers for this division.
With that said, let’s take a look at the latest O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship odds and make our predictions as to which driver will win the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Championship.

O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship Favorites
The following drivers are considered the odds-on favorites to win the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Championship:
Justin Allgaier +325
- Wins: 3
- Top 5s: 15
- Top 10s: 20
- 2025 Championship Finish: 3rd
Justin Allgaier had a strong season with three wins, 15 Top 5s and 20 Top 10s that led him to 3rd in the championship standings. That’s a respectable finish for the 2024 Xfinity champions. With the new Chase Format, Allgaier enters the 2026 season as the odds-on favorite to win.
What makes Allgaier such an appealing futures pick is based on experience and strong seasons over the last few years. He’s a consistent Top 10 driver even when he’s not competing for the victory. The veteran driver will lead JR Motorsports into the Playoffs where he could possibly win a second championship in the last three years.
Jesse Love +450
- Wins: 2
- Top 5s: 9
- Top 10s: 22
- 2025 Championship Finish: 1st
Jesse Love went from rookie of the year in 2024, to champion in 2025. He ended Zilisch’s remarkable season and took home the title in the final race of the season. Love started the year with a win at Daytona and constantly proved to be a Top 10 driver all year long.
Love’s consistency spans multiple styles of tracks. He’s one of the best drivers at the super speedways and showed that he can contend on short tracks along with intermediate venues.
You have to like Love’s chances to contend for another championship, especially since he finished with the second-best average finish, behind Zilisch.
Austin Hill +500
- Wins: 4
- Top 5s: 13
- Top 10s: 18
- 2025 Championship Finish: 6th
Austin Hill let me down last year. He won four races along with scoring 13 Top 5s, 18 Top 10s and was one of the best drivers not named Zilisch. Well, that was until the Playoffs where Hill dropped the proverbial ball.
With that said, I think Hill is a real contender this year. He’s the best super speedway driver and has proven that he can also dominate at intermediate tracks like Atlanta. Hill won the second most races last year and could easily duplicate that feat this season.
I also like his aggressive attitude. Hill was suspended for a race last season due to on-track antics. This is the type of driver that can win a championship, if he can channel that attitude towards consistent success.
Taylor Gray +650
- Wins: 1
- Top 5s: 7
- Top 10s: 15
- 2025 Championship Finish: 7th
In 2025, Gray recorded one win, seven Top 5s, and 15 Top 10s, which culminated in a seventh-place result for the championship standings.
Gray’s breakthrough win came at Martinsville Speedway, which was the first of his career. It also came in the penultimate race of the season when he was already eliminated from the Playoffs. However, under the new Chase Format, that could have put him in contention for the championship.
While Gray might not be a household name, that’s just a matter of time. He’s a driver on the rise and will benefit from the no.2 series seeing key drivers depart. Look for Gray to build on his 7th result last year with a potential Top 5 finish and a run at the championship.
Sam Mayer +750
- Wins: 1
- Top 5s: 13
- Top 10s: 18
- 2025 Championship Finish: 10th
Sam Mayer also showed remarkable consistency over dominating any one race. He finished with 18 Top 10s and 13 Top 5s which was tied for the third most. His lone win came at Iowa. However, he was inconsistence over the postseason which led to an early elimination.
This year, Mayer provides a nice blend of reliability with plenty of upside. Mayer has already proven that he can compete on any track, which should prove to be a benefit to his championship chances especially under the Chase Format where consistency and race wins are vital to a title run.
I would like to see Mayer’s odds increase a little bit more before jumping on board. Yet, that shouldn’t stop anyone from identifying him as a true contender this year.
Best O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship Value
The following O’Reilly Auto Parts Series drivers offer the best betting value based on their previous success and current odds:
Sammy Smith +1000
- Wins: 1
- Top 5s: 8
- Top 10s: 18
- 2025 Championship Finish: 8th
Sammy Smith provides us with betting value for his 2026 odds. He finished with the 4th most Top 10s which proves consistency on the track and reliability for bettors.
Smith’s lone victory in 2025, came at a pivotal moment of the season where he not only grabbed his first checkered flag but also demonstrated he could close a race under pressure at Rockingham.
Smith closed out the season strong with five Top 9 finishes in the last six races. Unfortunately, he was already eliminated by then. However, that should carry over into this season as we could see a more determined driver who wins multiple races.
Carson Kvapil +1200
- Wins: 0
- Top 5s: 7
- Top 10s: 14
- 2025 Championship Finish: 4th
Despite not wining a race last year, Carson Kvapil was able to make it to the Championship 4 despite that fact. He showed remarkable consistency over the second half of the season and finished with seven Top 5s and 14 Top 10s for the year.
A 13.7 average finish also showed up in the Playoffs where he was able to advance at each point of elimination.
Kvapil has proven that he can win and compete in any of NASCAR’s top three circuits. With Zilisch gone, I think Kvapil will find more success and a checkered flag or two. There’s plenty of value and upside here.
Top O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship Longshot
Harrison Burton (+3300) is my longshot pick to win the O’Reilly Auto Parts championship in 2026. I rode with Burton all last year to make the Playoffs, which he did. And, I am taking him to do it once again this year, which could be the springboard he needs to scoring a championship.
Burton didn’t have a particularly strong statistical season last year, but he did perform well under pressure which came over the last month of the regular season. He fought every week to score that final Playoff spot.
During the postseason, Burton kept that momentum going with numerous Top 15 finishes and a few races where he led laps. I see Burton building off that momentum for the upcoming season. Could we see a run at the title? Well, at +3300 odds, I don’t see another longshot with more of a realistic chance than Burton.
O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship Predictions
Justin Allgaier and Jesse Love are two great choices to win the championship. However, I am looking at Austin Hill! I think this is the year he finally breaks through to capture the trophy.
With the new Chase Format, Hill will be a contender at the end of the season where he might not even need a win in the final race to capture the championship.
Hill finished the 2025 season with the second most wins, third most Top 5s, fourth most Top 10s, and fifth best average finish. Only Zilisch had better numbers across the boards. Allgaier was just as good but finished with one less win.
Hill is a driver that shows speed, talent and aggression at every type of track. That’s perfect for someone looking to capture their first championship. At +500 odds, Hill offers more value than Allgaier and his teammate Love.
Bet: Austin Hill (+500)
