Bucks vs. Hawks Game 6 Player Props Picks

The Milwaukee Bucks have a chance to close things out in the NBA’s Eastern Conference finals on Saturday night against the Atlanta Hawks. And they may once again have to do it without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been listed as doubtful with his hyperextended knee.

So the action takes place in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena at 8:35 PM ET. And we’re in something of a similar situation to what we saw in the previous game, except it looks as if on the other side, Trae Young is going to be in uniform as he is listed “questionable” for the game with his foot injury. He has not played in either of the last two games.

And we see another opportunity to cash on a few NBA player props we have investigated for everyone.

And we must say – we’ve done very well with this team.

Bucks vs. Hawks Player Props Predictions (Game 6)

Bucks vs. Hawks Betting Preview

Here we go:

BROOK LOPEZ OVER 15.5 POINTS (-125)

We have talked about the fundamental difference between the Hawks and the Bucks, which was that Milwaukee has the ability to achieve much more in the way of balance. In other words, there are more players who can make a very big impact on a game.

And we truly saw that come to life on Thursday, as Giannis had to sit. if you look at the way the ball was distributed, three different members of the starting lineup – Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and Bobby Portis – had exactly 20 field goal attempts. And Brook Lopez had 18. And if you look at the point production, Lopez actually led the way with 33 points, with Middleton scoring 26, Holiday 25 and Portis 22. The Usage percentages were pretty even as well.

Basketball Odds

Giannis had been able to get into the paint and score a lot of points in the first two games, and was in fact nearing a record pace for paint points. Lopez has an inside-outside game that could take advantage of the eye injury that’s been bothering Clint Capela.

You saw that under virtually the same set of circumstances we’ll see on Saturday, Lopez was able to go off. So his total is posted at less than half that amount.

KHRIS MIDDLETON UNDER 27.5 POINTS (-106)

Middleton had a pretty good game on Thursday. He shot 50% from the field (10 of 20). Yet he still didn’t go over this posted number at online sportsbooks.

We realize that there are expectations about the Bucks looking more toward Middleton as a “go-to” option with Giannis’ injury. And let’s admit that he has exploded on occasion.

But when you consider that in 16 playoff games this season, he has been below 27.5 points in thirteen of those games, this is a big hurdle for him to overcome. And when you think of it that way, the price is somewhat appetizing.

Basketball Predictions

JRUE HOLIDAY UNDER 40.5 POINTS + REBOUNDS + ASSISTS (-109)

It’s hard to tell what the scoring forecast would be for Holiday, but we know that whether it is Trae Young or Lou Williams playing the small guard spot for the Hawks, neither of them is going to match up all that well with him.

But when we look at all that balance for Milwaukee in Game 5, it naturally presents a lot of opportunity for ball distribution, which means assists. In half of his playoff appearances, he has dished out nine or more.

All that having been said, this situation had better REALLY workout for him, because if you take his PRA totals, they have only gone over THIS total twice in 16 playoff games.
