It is hard to know what to expect in this Pac-12 clash. Rust should be obvious but I love the Sun Devils getting this many points on the road. Past matchups favor the Trojans. Yet, everything is subject to change this season.
Michigan State Spartans at Iowa Hawkeyes Picks: Iowa -6½
I went with Michigan State as an upset special last Saturday and it came away with the stunning SU win over rival Michigan. Yet, I have Iowa covering this week in the wake of a major Spartans letdown.

North Carolina Tar Heels at Duke Blue Devils Picks: OVER 64
North Carolina should win this game SU but I was not thrilled about giving up more than 10 points on the road. The total has gone OVER in four of Duke’s last five games. It has also gone OVER in nine of its last 12 home games.
Boston College Eagles at Syracuse Orange Picks: Boston College -14
Give the Eagles credit for throwing a scare into the top team in the nation. They have been able to cover in five of seven games this year. Syracuse is a really bad team that may only win one or two games this season.

This is one of the bigger showdowns on Saturday’s slate. The winner is in position to win the SEC East and the loser would have a pair of losses on the year. I like Georgia at home as the better pressure team in this pairing.

Houston is not a bad team this year but it will on the road against the class of the AAC. I have been riding the Bearcats the last few games and I was impressed with last week’s 49-10 winning effort against Memphis.
Fresno State Bulldogs at UNLV Rebels Picks: UNDER 56½
Turning the Mountain West, I like Fresno State covering the 11 points on the road. However, I love the UNDER in this game. The total has stayed UNDER in 15 of the Bulldogs’ last 19 road games. It has stayed UNDER in five of UNLV’s last six games at home.
(#1) Clemson Tigers at (#4) Notre Dame Fighting Irish: OVER 51
The game of the week should also be Clemson’s biggest test of the season. The Tigers almost got caught looking past Boston College last Saturday. They will be ready for the Irish come this Saturday. Both teams should have success putting points on the board.
