Four College Basketball Underdogs to Tease on Saturday

College basketball season is here, and that means we have endless betting options for months. This Saturday, there are over 50 games in Division I men’s college basketball.

Live betting is a great way to take advantage of college basketball. Point swings take place in college basketball, so live betting creates wins for bettors of all levels.

An even better way to put the odds in your favor is through a teaser bet on underdogs. A teaser is when you adjust the point spread by a certain number of points to increase your odds.

The reward will be lower than a straight parlay for the same risk amount. But teasers give bettors much more confidence to bet big due to the adjusted betting odds.

Here are four underdogs you should keep your eye on for a live teaser bet this Saturday.

Connecticut Huskies

Connecticut is undefeated on the year, and it’s playing North Carolina State on Saturday. UConn will play USC prior to Saturday, which will be its first test this season.

The Huskies are undefeated but have only played Central Connecticut State and Hartford. These are two mid-major programs that aren’t on the same level as the Wolfpack.

North Carolina State will be a slight favorite on Saturday, but keep an eye on the Huskies for a teaser. The Wolfpack haven’t been tested yet this season. The game will also take place in Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Each program is similar in points per game. North Carolina State is scoring just over 90 points, while UConn is scoring just over 85.

UConn’s James Bouknight has been on a mission this season. He had some off-the-court issues last season, but he has solved these problems. He could lead UConn to an upset over North Carolina State Saturday.

Baylor Bears

Saturday’s game between No. 2 Baylor and No. 1 Gonzaga steals the show for Saturday action. Baylor is scoring more points and giving up fewer per game than Gonzaga.

Gonzaga has played tougher competition in its first few games, though Baylor had a big win over Illinois on Wednesday night.

This is a game that could go either way. A teaser involving Baylor could solidify a big win because of its explosiveness. The Bears will need a big game from Jared Butler, who is shooting 60% from the field so far in 2020.

Washington State Cougars

Washington State will travel to Colorado for a game with the Buffaloes. Neither team is ranked, but Colorado should be a big favorite. Each team is undefeated so far in 2020.

Colorado is better on paper. It is scoring 17 more points per game than the Cougars. Each team is giving up around 60 points per game. Washington State will need to be more efficient from the field than it has been this season.

The most important note for this game is that Colorado suspended team activities last week due to COVID-19 protocol. The Buffaloes missed a game against Arizona because of this shutdown.

This could affect Colorado’s play on Saturday, which is why you should keep an eye on Washington State.

SMU Mustangs

SMU will take on Dayton this Saturday. The Mustangs should be a slight underdog on the road. SMU is scoring 90 points per game, but it hasn’t played anyone of significance just yet. However, this shows that the Mustangs can sink shots all over the court.

Dayton has played tougher competition, so it is only scoring 66 points per game. Dayton is defined by defense, but I think SMU will still be able to score.

This makes SMU a perfect team to keep your eye on for a live underdog teaser this Saturday.
