The start of a new season in the NBA is right around the corner. Now is the best time to place a few bets on an extended list of regular season player props. The following are my Top 10 NBA prop picks on the board.
Best Basketball Betting Sites
Anthony Davis – Average Rebounds Per Game: OVER 9½ (-130)
Davis averaged 9.3 rebounds a game for the Los Angeles Lakers in last season’s run to a NBA title. This was the first time in his career he failed to average double-digit rebounds since his rookie season in 2012/2013.
Ben Simmons – Average Assists Per Game: OVER 8½ (-115)
Simmons ranked eighth in the NBA in assists last season with an average of eight a game. As the 76ers try and take that next step in a run for a championship, look for Simmons to up his game a bit as well.
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Average Points Per Game: UNDER 29½ (-115)
The Milwaukee Bucks superstar has done it all for the past seven seasons but he is still looking for his first career world title. His 29.5-point scoring average last season was the highest of his career. Eclipsing that number this season might be easier said than done.
Free NBA Predictions
James Harden – Average Points Per Game: UNDER 32½ (-115)
Harden led the NBA in scoring last season with 34.3 PPG. His career high was 36.1 the season before. With his future in Houston possibly up in the air, there could be a drop off this time around.
Jimmy Butler – Average Points Per Game: OVER 20½ (+100)
Butler (19.9 PPG) was able to carry Miami farther anyone’s preseason prediction last season. Losing to the Lakers in the NBA Finals should be strong enough motivation to raise his scoring average above 20 points this year.
Kawhi Leonard – Average Points Per Game: UNDER 26½ (+100)
The betting odds for the OVER in this prop are -130 after Leonard averaged 27.1 PPG for the LA Clippers last season. This one will be close but the value play is still the UNDER. That was the highest average of his career.

Kevin Durant – Average Points Per Game: UNDER 25½ (+115)
The odds in this prop heavily favor the OVER at -145. The motivation to come back strong from a missed season will be high but that could be hard to do. Durant comes close to this number but stays just below 25.
LeBron James – Average Assists Per Game: UNDER 9½ (-115)
Last season was the first time James averaged more than nine assists in his entire career with 10.2. His career average for assists is 7.4 to add even more value to the play on the UNDER. Age is becoming a factor for the king.
Luca Doncic – Average Rebounds Per Game: OVER 9½ (-115)
Heading into just his third season in the NBA, the upside on all of Doncic’s stats is high. He averaged 9.4 rebounds last season for Dallas after pulling down 7.8 boards in his rookie year. He should raise the bar even higher this year.
Stephen Curry – Average Points Per Game: OVER 26½ (-130)
Coming off a down season (20.8 PPG), you can expect a big year for Curry. Going from the penthouse to the basement of the NBA cannot be sitting too well with one of the best shooters in the game. Look for much bigger things this season.
